>early access

they still get money even if game turn out to be shit

>buying bootleg Factorio

>Not on steam
Lol no

But user, epic already paid for my copy, which is why I'll be getting it for free without any moral qualms.

>when an user goes all out and pretends to be the most obvious of shills when he just wants to talk about a game because he knows he'll be called a shill anyway
sad

Played in the alpha test-weekend. It's really good, but still missing some features. I'm waiting and will probably buy it when it comes to Steam.

if you want me to buy the game so badly put it on steam.
faggot.

I wait till it goes on steam. Don't want to spread my library out.

i'd rather factorio lmao

why isn't it on steam

I don't get it. I looked it up on Steam but I couldn't find it.

I was very interested in the game until they announced it's EGS exclusive. I'm probably going to pirate it now

>factorio for plebs

Just give me a key and I'll stream it.

It's factorio for those of us who already have 1000+ hours and want something slightly different before we embark on another 1000 hours.

>AssCreed2 trailer song
>that editing
yikes

actual kino trailer

>Epic
Yikes that's gonna be a pirate from me, dawg

Fuck Steam niggers

i dont play autist games

They already got the money so what's the problem causing this rudeness?

Think of all the poor Chinese people who won't be able to buy your credit card info after Epic sells it off.

What exactly is early access? Why would devs release an unfinished game or market their game with that title?

Please stop with this spiteful faggotry, what you're doing is punishing a good game so just you imaginarily one-up Tim.

An excuse to make money off of an unfinished game while stifling criticism with "It's just early access"

Is this just going to be a pure sandbox game? Build stuff just for the sake of it?

>punishing a good game
Games are not alive, you cannot punish them.

In principle, early access exists to help out small devs get the game across the finish line and gauge interest.
In practice, it allows AAA devs to crowd source their games and mitigate some risk.

Sort of. There's a thin narrative that you're on a planet and you're supposed to gather certain materials for some purpose.
Essentially it's a logistics/factory simulator. You're constantly working towards crafting the materials for the next tech tree so you can craft more materials more efficiently. It's fun in factorio.

You can. Because when you do punish a game you pass along punishment to the developer.

>you pass along punishment to the developer.
They already got paid their bribe money

No.

Advertising is against the rules. Please delete your thread, thanks.

But Epic already paid them their guaranteed minimum sales? Devs lose nothing.

stop lying
the devs don't need my support
they already got the fortnite zoomer money
and the guaranteed revenues

sauce on comic?

>devs unironically expect me to beta test their game
LMAO
I might pirate it when it comes out of early access
Know your place bitch-ass devs, you are a dog

I probably would have but they didn't have the confidence to say "no" to Epic money so I don't think they're in it to deliver a good product.

QFT

They needed Epic's money to survive. Look at the graphics man. It's better than all the games released in 2019 and it's STILL in Early Access

If you insist, I might actually pirate it

This is the problem with these games for me (and likewise survival games): lack of an end goal. It's just build stuff to build more stuff, rinse and repeat. Typically I enjoying playing them right up until I've built/seen everything there is to see, at which point there's no more reason to play, and I'm just left without any real sense of completion or closure. Wish more games in these genres would try to integrate more of a traditional narrative structure, because I do enjoy the game mechanics.

Gonna pirate it when it's finished, epic already paid them for my copy. :)

>Please, please buy
Do you realize your post is an advertisement OP?

You're not wrong, but there can be more to it.
Factorio, for example, has a repeating win condition. You do everything you do for the sake of launching a rocket with a satelite, and thus you "win". But you can keep playing and see if you can get as many rockets as possible within X amount of time. For example, having a factory that can launch 1 rocket per minute requires a bunch of giant factories that'd take dozens if not hundreds of hours to build.

And if that's not your cup of tea, there are mods that simply complicate the path needed to take to get to that end. I'm on a Bob + Angel playthrough and I'm only now getting ready to launch a rocket and I'm 70 hours in.

And if neither of those fit your bill - try being more autistic!

I like subnautica more

Should've put it on steam. I'm not gonna pirate it but I sure as fuck am not gonna buy it.

Looks like shit. also fuck off Epic shill

how?! I got it free for a test weekend only

Yeah, I guess I'm not autistic enough. For me, once I've seen everything there is to see, goals like "build x number of widgets" or "survive y days" hold no appeal. Like, I know I could do it if I put the time in, but there's zero reason to do so at that point, and so I lose interest.

>It's still in early access
Stopped reading right there
If a game is in EA all I can do is subscribe to be notified when it comes out fully, untill then you won't see a penny from me

I once built a small city with fully functioning electricity and plumbing.
The hard drive on which it was stored got corrupted and I lost it all.

I've had enough of autism simulators for one lifetime.

Stop posting and lurk more.

Should have specified, in minecraft.

I pirated it and it was fun. I'll wait for the full release on Steam to actually get it and play with my friends though.
Until then we have Factorio.

i have been "lurking" for 12 years, just not every single thread ever made on Yea Forums

Stop making up lies. The guy posted a reaction image with a piracy theme, and you're asking how he got it for free.
Get the fuck out.

Subnautica is too spooky, deep sea shit scares the fuck out of me.

>epic store

Attached: download.jpg (300x168, 5K)

I'm very interested since it's factorio in 3d,but I can't find it on steam

>paying attention to wojack pics in year of our lord 2k19
He said Epic "paid" for his copy, which is factually incorrect if you know how piracy of digital products works.

Like I said, lurk more. It was stated in this thread several times that Epic has already paid out Coffe Stain so even if it doesn't sell, they still get their money's worth. It's a deal where Epic guarantees X amount of sold copies and covers whatever is left over.
So how about you start looking at pictures and reading threads before you spout your nonsense, or in other words: Lurk more.

This has actually been a nice thread - Steam drones seethin'

I was going to support it, but epic decided they were going to put up the money for me so cheers luv

It's on epic store so I will give it a pirate.

Cry more

For the last time, I'm not installing another launcher until steam starts taking my favorite games off the store.
