It's not as much censored as it actually comes from DaftPatriot itself. But otherwise yeah, some even rooms used to be advertised with cropped porn until MHW.

Bought Generations Ultimate.

Played through all of TES, TW1-2 is lackluster with 3 being an alright game.

I started with Freedom 1 and I really wouldn't recommend doing so.
I don't see anything wrong with starting with World. If you're the kind of person to enjoy the old games then the promise of more content will be enough to entice you after. If the loss of QoL/grafix scares you away then the old games weren't for you to begin with and trying to start with one would have been a waste of time.

MGS V was what got me interested in the series, but I did not play it until I made it through MG, MG2, MGS, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, and MGSPW in the Legacy collection on PS3.

I rarely go into a long running series with their latest game unless accessibility to the previous games are tedious.

Gen had some really awkward pacing in low rank, and even later in the multiplayer shit can still be thin and slow since village requests only counted for the host and my online experience distilled down to having to do 3x Hyper Tetsu, 3x Blangonga, or Marshlands Nightmare on repeat. Thank god GU made it so everyone can get credit, provided they got the quest as well.

They still have it so that only the host gets credit for deviants though and I don't really get why. I'm sick of hunting low level deviants in G rank turns rooms.

It only makes sense with the ticket system because the host is paying up those, and even those are stupid because the game hands out so many points to buy them and much more, it's not even funny. The deviant armors have no right being as bad as they are in G-Rank, too. It's even less effort to make something better.
