Daggerfall Dungeons

i'm waiting for them to finish off a few graphical updates before i give it another go. the regular textures upscaled using AI and given parallax looks gorgeous. Now that we've got 3d trees, better models for buildings, plus most of the 2d interior sprites turned into 3d models I'm so fucking hyped for when it all comes together.

imagine

but are they good though

just because its large and elaborate, it doesnt mean its fun

house models are getting updated as well

Does Daggerfall Unity support 3d enemies? I wouldn't mind making some 3d enemies for it.

Really needs mp. After playing tes3mp I can't go back to single-player scrolls.

It´s fun if you like Dungeon crawling, character progression and labyrinths.

>The best Elder Scrolls game is forgotten
It isn't fucking fair.

Why doesn't Todd Howard, king of the double dip, at least give us a version we don't have to run in dosbox.

They are fun, just like Minecraft caves are fun.

I'm not sure how animating would work but it suports swapping 3d models for sprites.

can you imagine a full scale daggerfall multiplayer mod operating off multiple connected servers to allow tens of thousands of people to play in the same world? that would be fucking incredible.

Agree, the GOG version run very good.

Battlespire is the "dark souls" of TES. Great Atmosphere, music and gothic feelings.

They are working on Multiplayer and VR.

10/10 art design too. My favorite sprites in all of vidya.

And remember, it's always possible to locate the exit through the interactive map.
reaching the exit however is another matter if you've fallen into a hole

Nothing more pathetic than people wasting their free time posting on an anonymous image board pretending to like a game they've never even played a significant amount of.

Whats happening to me? You’re right...

>Daggerfall
SOUL
LESS

> City larger than anything nu-toddsa has ever made and with no loading screens

Reminder that they removed superjumping and levitation because nu-toddsa couldn't figure out how to get Gamecumryo to do LOD

Is there a gameplay mod for the original daggerfall? I don't mind the graphics, I mind the freaking combat system. Whose idea was to swing the mouse to attack? That was horrible even at the time

And here you are.

Any way to play this on Android at all?

Use your phone to buy a computer

I have a computer you scrotum wrinkle

I'm sorry for your brain cancer, Mr. McCai- wait a minute, aren't you already dead?

Download the DOSbox for Android and set it up. There are instructions online.

minecraft caves/mineshafts are fun the first time you do one. after that they're the worst part of the game.

I think there is a youtube tutorial.

How do you climb that house if the roof isn't flat on the border ?

>he didn't level up climbing

HALT

what do you mean? Most of the daggerfall houses have roofs with overhanging eaves, see

Hmm maybe I'm thinking of Arena.

I've really been interested in how games can have VR implemented lately. Especially something like Arx Fatalis that has its source code out for people to mess with.
Would that even be possible? Or is it only really possible in things like the Daggerfall unity project and OpenMW because they're basically remaking the game?

How would it work in the main quest dungeons ? They would be overcrowed.

>enter dungeon
>never see the light of day for the next 10 hours
great game you got there

i dunno, you could probably spread those out somehow. It would be great though when a quest sends you into a random dungeon being able to team up with 4-5 people and explore the gigantic labyrinth looking for the quest npc

how is it compared to Ultima Underworld?

Maybe you could put dungeons into instances when they're very important, like the beginning one.

I mean, you can play ESO right now if ypu want that. Morrowind has a multiplayer mod. The Diablo 2 model seems a bit more reasonable.

You haven't played Daggerfall at all if you think it's close in any way from eso.
