To be fair, it only happens a few times. The real things that suck are when you're either supposed to press people on one statement after pressing them on another, and when you're supposed to lose/give up on purpose. The game doesn't really tell you when to do these and like most people, you'll figure you have a piece of evidence or profile that will turn things around, but that actually isn't the case. Again, it only pops up a handful of times, but just keep it in mind for future reference.

I bought the Japanese version early on the Switch since it has English already, and no, it doesn't not have any visual options. If anything, I'd say it's a bit lacking as a port BECAUSE it doesn't give you a lot of options you'd expect in a VN-styled game like original visuals/aspect ratios, backtracking through text, and so on. It's very limited in its options.

In the later games you defend and try to interrogate animals. This is pretty normal and you get used after a while.

I'm trying to beat Great Ace Attorney and something about it just isn't making me warm up to it like older AA did. Case 1 was alright, 2 was horseshit and Nikomina did nothing wrong and 3 is actually doing good at being fun.
