Add in missing features that should have been in the game on release

Stage builder was a ton of fun. The most fun I ever had with brawl was building an arch and using snakes infinite recovery to see who could stay under it the longest.

Still no reason to remove it. There's a ton of shit they can improve with each game like character customization, single player, gamemodes, ect, but nah man it's all rosterfags care about is whether or not scooby doo gets into smash.

Homerun started to get boring with Smash 4. Literally the same thing every game, unlike Classic. The Mode I care about the least next to Target Smash.

I’m just saying, the lack of Homerun in Ultimate doesn’t drastically affect my opinion of the game. If it’s back, then fine, but I’m still satisfied with what the game already has to offer.

The reason to remove it is to not spend the time or resources making something that adds relatively little value to the game.

Game space, voice lines, asset creation, animation creation, potential for bugs, general dev time required. Lots of reasons to not spend time on dead, boring content no one actually wants.

My personal theory is that they're trying to replicate what they were able to do with Splatoon: keep already completed things locked away for free updates so that people will keep revisiting it. I guarantee in the 4.0.0 update we're gonna see another "lost" mode return.

Brawl's stage builder was better than Smash 4's anyways. Nintendo would have to try pretty hard to make it worse than it was in 4

We did, it's called Mewtwo DLC for Smash 4. No one bitched, in fact, everyone lapped it up. Nintendo knows more about business than you do faggot.

Ignore a toy they aren't using or playing with, but then cry when you take it away.

Hopefully this new version let's you customize the fore ground and background, use assets from all stages, create events, build complex structures, cool shit like that.

The only thing the stage builder needs to be good is to have all the backgrounds from the ordinary stages available with the different platform types. So for example if you use the Nintendogs background you would have the building blocks as platforms.

If they decided to take their time with Stage Builder then I don't mind it not being on release. It somehow was worse in 4 so extra dev time to make it something worthwhile without dragging the whole games development down is fine.

Okay. Not many people actually play Smash for the Stage Builder and Home Run Contest. Adding them in, for free, to the game post launch is generous and will add hours to playing it, especially for people that like those modes. I like Stage Building a lot so I appreciate this. All they need to do now is create a true all star mode and add more challenges and we're golden.

Stage Builder only became shit once Brawl modding took off, before that there were a lot of people sharing stages with each other on IGN, GameFAQs, etc. back in the day.

I think the new knockback system would act weird whit homerun, maybe thats why

Just let us use more than like 4 different blocks this time and add some fucking variety to the backgrounds or elements we could use, maybe some stuff from the actual series in the game like Mario or Kirby

What am I looking for, all I am seeing is him unlocking inkling and then playing a round with some others.
