My favorties are the Super series (yes,even R, I have a soft spot for that game. '93 and '94 are pretty good. Tournament and Generation are great too.
Amazing game. Definitely the best of the DS games. The Bomerman Land Touch! games are also fun.
Bomberman threads never last long sadly, but they're alwasy chill. Also, will they make a new game since Super R came out two years ago? Will they ever make a new cartoon/anime series based off Bomberman?

yeah, its success was absolutely circumstantial. im thankful that the switch didnt have much else at launch because SBR sold so many copies since it was basically the only multiplayer game for the switch at launch.

Didn't someone try to make a Bomberman timeline? I remember seeing a picture of it. Bomberman really is all over the place. Is the character himself robot/alien/humanoid? Depends on the game. Sometimes human exist in the games, sometimes they don't.

Personally I really like the ones where he's part of an intergalactic police force just going on random adventures in space. I never really was a fan of the Dastardly Bomber stuff since it felt too much like basic Power Rangers shit, but that could just be me growing up on Second Attack and the Jetters games.
