Literally impossible

It´s simple.
In her first phase, use the Nightjar Slash repeatedly, in 8 attacks or less you will break her posture.
In the second phase, hide behind one of the pillars and wait for her call back the spirits, continue nightjar > two attacks > repost
When her launch the butterflies, run in circles, repeat.
If her stops in the air, throw a shuriken.

Well if you don't care about the beads then there should be nothing really locked out other than the quests to do the other endings. So if you missed out on the Purification questline you miss out on a pretty sweet boss fight.

Theres a bonfire right before the big lake after the manor in the palace, right behind that bonfire is a lightning spear idiot and a noble, killing both will give you like 1500xp and 200 or so sen, just do that for a while if you want

Not even fucking around, she's one of the easiest bosses I've fought in a From game and I feel bad for people who are still struggling with her. Just spam Nightjar Slash nigga that's all you have to do.

get the overhead slam (or even teh double version), and get the midair attacks upgrade.

Easy to beat after that as long as you are good at dodging the spirit missles later on.

i think the problem behind Sekiro difficulty is the problem behind Souls difficulty, behind any hard game's difficulty. You just need to listen to the game and learn to speak its language, not try to force yours on it. I see people doing things like trying to force attacks through without making sure the boss is safe, not primarily concerning themselves with punishing, not being defensive enough. Even myself, I thought the game was downright ridiculously hard until it clicked that I'm not supposed to be doing damage, I'm trying to make the boss exhaust itself. I don't know how to rate this game's difficulty compared to Souls anymore, but before learning to speak the language it did come off as the hardest thing imaginable. Fighting the drunk in front of the estate was a nightmare.
