It turns out I REALLY like playing villager in smash. Definitely one of the most big brained characters in the game. I love trapping people into inescapable situations, then punishing hard with the tree. He can even edgeguard so easily, I love it.

I finally saved up enough money in Etrian Odyssey 3 to buy the Yagrush, a super powerful weapon that you need a lot of planning to get early.

It's really satisfying to formulate and execute a plan in a single player rpg with a lot of depth.

Extremely good console FPS game which offered great customisability for players and was well-written comedy-wise. The first game isn't really anything special, but I would highly recommend picking up Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

I think Another Eden is a wonderful phone game in an endless sea of gacha.

VR is the coolest thing ever. I'm so happy it's real. I can't wait to see what the tech becomes in the future. It's the fulfillment of a literal childhood fantasy, even without full physical haptic feedback.

Full Invasion is cool I haven't played it since FI 2 just keep at it it get's easy when you learn to properly feint and how to take on multiple people at once. Instead I've been trying to combine the city-states mod with Dickplomacy Reloaded.

Nah I was never too great at Warband in the first place, my winning strategy is Rhodok crossbow spam. But I'm still having fun with Osiris as a ranged guy. I just hate having to wait 2 rounds to get back to playing if I die but the autismos behind the may say reviving every round will "ruin the balance", as if that somehow changes anything.

I spent a bunch of money and got an Analogue Mega SG. I never had a Genesis growing up although I used one quite frequently at friends’ houses. I knew it was cool although I had a SNES out of brand loyalty. But man this system was good back in the day. It might have aged even better than the SNES did. Even the color palette issues don’t feel as bad as it just gives the games a sick style, dare I say it soul.

the city state mod is already pretty buggy by itself so not too well. I'd just play it with Diplomacy but honestly Dickplomacy Reloaded is just the perfect amount of vanilla+ for me I don't know if I can play vanilla with any less mods but the idea of a run with every city being it's faction sounds way too fun not to give it a shot.

Also have you tried bastard sword+triple board? You can rely on the shields so no directional blocking, leaving you to focus on offense, occasionally switching the sword to two handed. That's how I got gud, anyway.
