Well, make sure you check the melee weapon info to make sure that your feat adjustment isn't in the negatives, it makes it harder to use the weapons. And most early game firearms are meant to be sidearms, not really a main thing, but you can get the shotgun early which is really good up until Hollywood when you get better guns.

you also have to remember that vamps dont have as much control over their emotions and such because of their clan curses. yes vamps usually embrace those that fit their personality arche type but the clan curse heavily influences their decision making. for example its no coincidence that most brujah are anarchs simply because they have to be contrarian to anything they arent running.

due to gameplay reasons vtmb doesnt force you to make decisions but allows you to be as cordial or unruly as you like regardless what clan you are when that normally wouldnt be the case.

then there are blood bonds which the sabbat actively due which is another thing altogether. when you think about it regular vamps usually dont have much freedom of any kind (hence the whole premise of anarchs and sort of sabbat).

Yeah Vampire the Masquerade which is part of the World of Darkness series which includes Werewolves, Mages, Mummies, etc. It was pretty consistently the second most popular game after DnD for most the nineties and I think was very briefly bigger than DnD in about 95.
