>Games with beautiful and rich environments
I'm not talking about walking simulators
I'm taking about games were backgrounds and environments are rich and superbly done
Muramasa comes to mind
Also that house on fire in Last Blade
Games with beautiful and rich environments
Other urls found in this thread:
Xenoblade series
Not even close, dumb weeb
I have bad news for you, Muramasa is actually a japanese game too so you too are now a "weeb"
And you are retarded if you think muramasa has better enviroments than xenoblade
ok post picutres
nice
That angry comment is not mine, lads
The house fire I'm referring to
But the environments are beautiful and superbly done, they're just hampered by shitty hardware.
Saying "vanillaware games" is cheating so I give you Dragon Quest XI
word
Lords of Shadow 1 and 2
Rich environments - the game
4K ultra Hitman 2 is wonderful
Bayonetta 2 had a pretty ambitious art direction and it showed, even while being held back by weak hardware.
are we talking real enviros or fantasy?
racing games are just faster walking simulators
Outward is pretty good right now.
Based
Whatever, 2bh. Some pixel art is superb, but some 3d games environments are rich af, too
95-99 SNK always had the best backgrounds. Capcom had them from 91 to 94, but mid 90s SNK backgrounds were untouchable.
The Division 1 and 2
why the fuck are there wind turbines
I can hear it
Th looks like a 240p screenshot
the site is rejecting all of the pics for being too big

I wonder why.
this one seems to fit
You have anything better? RDR2 looks really great but I'm not digging the empty fields.
Japan is such a nice nation, I hope they never embrace the cancer of mass immigration as the west did.
Oh, and I meant a better environment in RDR2. Worded a little awkwardly.
Nigga, just use a jpg.
Black Desert Online had some pretty comfy environments
the game is set in the frontier so it is mostly empty fields, with a bit of snowy mountains, swamps, and a desert
but there was a surprising amount of little easter eggs and environmental storytelling, it's a big step up from GTA5 in that regard
Boy have I news for you!
I was trying to deliver the crispy pixels, senpai
I dream of the day Yea Forums finally gets webm with audio sitewide, and bigger picture sizes...
Haaaaru yoooo
Whatever answer anyone gives, people are gonna shit on.
So whatever, I thought KH3 recently, and Nocturne/Persona 4/FF9 had nice environments
Skyrim unironically
There are plenty of non-Japanese people living in Japan who identify as Japanese (Mainly Chinese, Korean and South-East Asian people.) but aren't ethnically Japanese. That's the reason why most statistics show "98% of Japan is Japanese" when in reality it's more like 87%.
Immigration is a fact of society, you're literally against something that's hard-wired in our brains.
the whole level is the stereotypical suburban hell
>ecology up the wazoo
>republican
>barbeque
>porch
>american flags
>politicians
so I guess the turbines are there for that very reason
Why do RDR2 screenshots always look so blurry? Not trying to start shit, it's just that they all look like they've been upscaled + FXAA. I wish consoles hadn't fallen for the 4k meme and opted for high quality, 60 fps 1080p.
PS3 looked garbage on 1080p screens because no aa. Maybe they were counting on 4k screens taking off much more.
all the gameplay I have watched looks like it is tinted in blue for muh atmosphere
lookin forward to some good postprocessing profiles, as the game looks really cool
lmfao this dumpsterfire is so ugly there is no artstyle just filters and free assets
>what if grass was purple
The only good thing about BDO was environments. Loved just watching them.
