Kind of vidya magazine related, but I remember when Christmas NiGHTS was distributed as a pack-in with a couple magazines in the US (I think they were Ultra Game Players and Next Gen if I remember right). I had a subscription to UGP but I didn't get a copy packed in when it came in the mail. I checked the magazine stands at the stores in the area and it was nowhere to be found (They all came with an AOL disc I think). Finally I tagged along with my mom to go xmas shopping at a mall about an hour away and found one there. To this day I'm thankful I managed to get my hands on one, since the Christmas NiGHTS that was included in the NiGHTS remaster doesn't have all of the features of the original release. I still don't know why my area seemingly didn't get any copies distributed, maybe it was just a lack of supply.
