He doesnt give a fuck what western demons do
based
There's nothing wrong with adding an easy mode.
this, japs are trapped in their own bubble and that's a god thing.
Wrong.
JP doesn't give a shit about western SJW garbage and whatnot.
The west is shit.
they wont care. Crybabies like this fuel the need to make games harder.
What reactionary outrage culture-obsessed clickbait piece of shit website did this turd come from?
Imagine being so shit at games that you spend your time writing articles explaining why it's the games fault and not yours lmao
Dosen't give a shit about what some autistic burgers overseas are screaming about
Sekiro most likely will sell very well
The more important question is, when will he make a new Armored Core game?
I can’t remember if inside gaming was like this in 2010 but all the little political quips they are adding in now has really turned me off it.
There's nothing with lack of sexual content in MK11
(((Sonntag)))
Tell me then. What's wrong with adding an easy mode?
>crybabies take time out to claim a game ought to be easier
y tho
>gamer takes time out to publicly disagree with crybabies
why?
>takes time out to apologize for disagreeing with crybabies
WHY?!
Makes the fanbase bigger and thus worse
here's an idea for an "easy mode" for journos and faggots in a video game, but it'd only work once and only on release day
>release game with no early copies for journos, reviewers, or streamers
>make a big deal of it having an "easy mode" to cater to people, release a whole bunch of media/articles talking about how it's okay to play games just for the story, really butter them up
>easy mode in game basically adds an option to skip every boss you fight
>if you decide not to fight a boss, a cutscene plays out where your character evades the boss with cool-looking moves and just runs past them with some "heh, you're not even worth my time" edgy joke lines
>somewhere near the end of the game, you have to pass through a wide open, circular arena type area that looks like it's going to house a huge boss fight
>if you didn't skip any bosses during your playthrough the area is empty and you can just walk right across it into the next level
>if you skipped at least one boss, a special cutscene plays
>every single boss you skipped appears on the edge of the arena and jumps down into it and starts walking towards you
>bosses in unison: "did you really think we were just going to fucking let you RUN RIGHT PAST US?"
>you have to fight every single boss you skipped AT ONCE in one huge clusterfuck with no skip option if you actually want to see the ending
>essentially softlocking your game and forcing you to restart and beat it on normal if you want to finish it
>sit back and watch journo butthurt stream in while regular Yea Forums-types laugh their asses off
it would be fucking glorious
Waste of time and money
Why are you imposing your own limitations on a creators vision? Miyazaki deliberately set out to make a challenging game.
It doesn't need an easy mode, but would benefit from a disabled mode. As in, a mode made for people with disabilities.
If you want to spoil your fun by playing it on disabled mode then fine but you're the same kind of asshole who parks on parking lots dedicated for disabled people.
It's a waste of their time and puts in on the player to decide what experience might be right for them, which is the opposite of design.
you know something's wrong when even disabled people is telling you to git gud
Instead of wasting their time making videos crying about whether or not Sekiro needs an easy mode, can't they just use that time to git gud like everyone else ?
Its weeb shit, the fanbase can't get any worse.
The core gameplay loop of the game is about learning as well as trial and error, since there isn't much complexity in terms of combos or weapon variety. If you remove difficulty you remove what makes a lot of the gameplay unique.
perhaps
but there's nothing wrong with not adding an easy mode
>>you have to fight every single boss you skipped AT ONCE in one huge clusterfuck with no skip option if you actually want to see the ending
>>essentially softlocking your game and forcing you to restart and beat it on normal if you want to finish it
>leak the demo to Donguri
>he actually beats all the bosses at once
Wait is this real? People want an easy mode for a game that might be skill based? Jesus this world is longing for a reset. What happened to trying your best or getting good at something to be proud of it after the fact?
It's like that shitty game-journo playing cuphead, how do these mongrels even get jobs?
If a disabled person can play the game then no it doesn't need a disabled mode. youtube.com
BUT IT'S SO HAARRRRD DUUUUUDE
STOP GATEKEEPING IT'S 2019
No good reason to put in the work to add it in either.
cringe and cope
They did it's called firecrackers.
This.
And the creator decided not to.
But there is, how the hell could you add an easy mode without completely gutting the combat and several if not all game-play mechanics integral to the game itself? The game-play and the difficulty are the main draws to FROM Software games, they are hard BY DESIGN and an easy mode would trivialize everything the developers set out to do. I love the fact that I beat every boss by myself and I didn't have any crutches likes summons to help me out, it's exhilarating and an easy mode would be a massive cop out. So yeah GIT GUD.
If they really wanted to just enjoy the game on their own terms or whatever they could use Cheat Engine. But they won't, because it's not about needing and wanting the thing itself, but nagging about the latest culture war absurdity to make devs and publishers do what they want and then gloating when they get their way. They still wouldn't play it.
>reactionary
It's funny that this is the left's favorite new word when it describes their outrage over nothing just as well.
>how do these mongrels even get jobs?
Its their industry now.
seething weeabo
You could also play something else .
>I don't know how the free market works
Miyazaki wanted to make challenging games. He did this for the past 5 games he made. Abd quite obviously he was always not only breaking even with his games but even making profit. He makes profit with things he likes to make: challenging games.
Now kill yourself, you waste of oxygen.
>there is nothing wrong with publishers selling retellings of Tolstoj, Shakespeare, and Eckhardt Tolle as a series of emojis.
No one is gatekeeping dude.
you're just to twigly to open the gate.
It conflicts with the experience the devs intended for the player.
>its a /polcel/ buts his terrible opinion in the e-magazine format to be able to shill it on Yea Forums
True, there's only something wrong with demanding one.
The godawful framerate would just add to the punishment, I guess. Funny mental image.
Oh.
...Ooooohhhh.
There already is an easy mode. It's called "look up all the secrets of the game and level yourself up by grinding, then look up how to cheese the bosses"
You can make these fucking games as easy or hard as you want. Some games such as dark souls 1 have an entire Easy Playstyle built in called Magic
I'm learning coding to make an action game and plan on doing this.
The enemies are gonna oversell attacks like Pro Wrestlers.
The whole Cuphead debacle as well as that idiot who couldn't play DOOM really just made me realise journalists and reviewers shouldn't have any input on how to make games.
We speak English here, little monkey fella.
>All disabilities are the same
Two poorly functioning hands are still two hands. Give me a link with someone playing the game with one hand and you have a point.
A number of us figured that out a decade ago. Go watch IGN's video review of Sonic Unleashed and watch as they purposely run into traps and fall to their death.
Casual reminder that infantilization of the disabled is a bigger insult to them than a game being "too hard"
Stop using them as an excuse to not get good at the video game.
At least it's finally promting the entire foodchain to talk about whether difficulty is an intrinsic part of functional interactive narratives.
What the fuck is your problem Billy?
Your image with the huge "Apologized!" shit is also misleading considering it's not in the proper context, you clickbaiting fuck.
It destroys the artistic integrity of the vision and creates an alternate playstyle that's inherently NOT what the game developer set out to make the player see and experience. People who play games on easy modes don't get the real, full experience of the game that was intended for them play and as a result can't really say that they've actually played the game in all fairness.
This is especially a problem when journalists decide to play games and review them after finishing them on easy mode, as a result their review isn't honest nor does it depict the game the way both the majority of players are going to experience it nor the way the dev set out to create it. It's almost like them playing and reviewing an entirely different game, especially if one of the main selling points is that the game is challenging and has a high skill curve. Their review will end up being full of points, criticisms, or praises for shit that wasn't intended or isn't a real flaw if you play the game on the difficulty it was intended to be played on.
Some other issues with adding an easy mode are,
>developers have to waste time designing, adding, and then testing other difficulties, which in turn takes time away from them designing, adding, and testing other content or from polishing mechanics and content that are already present in the game
>budget goes up and the game ends up costing more and taking more time to finish (not always an option for devs if they want to make something good and polished)
>now instead of designing a game around one fixed difficulty where everything can be accounted for devs have to design around multiple difficulties in mind, muddling down certain areas and encounters as they have to be scratched or redesigned to appease both playstyles
it's just all around full of downsides, if devs don't want to cater to an easy mode audience and it's their game why not just let them do as they please?
heres a guy with no fucking functioning hands playing fighting games with his mouth, youtube.com
this guy can hold his own against motherfucking daigo and thats harder than anything in sekiro, cope harder
the director's creative vision > your fragile feelings
racist
