What are you hyped about and why?

What are you hyped about and why?

What don't you care about and why?

I just want SMT V and animal crossing

a release date is all I fucking want

I'm interested in Samurai Gunn 2 and Killer Queen Black.

>Extremely hype:
Pokemon Sword/Shield
Animal Crossing
Bayonetta 3
Metroid Prime 4

>Excited, probably gonna get:
Mario Maker 2
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Astral Chain
Zelda: Links Awakening
Shin Megami Tensei V

>Mild interest:
Cadence of Hyrule
Daemon x Machina
Luigi's Mansion 3

>No interest:
Box Boy
Ultimate Alliance 3
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games
Town

Animal Crossing

TOWN and Pokemon because
>Gamefreak
Also Fire Emblem, Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3

>ultimate overhype
Mario Maker 2, will probably be my GOTY despite awesome games like DMC5 or Sekiro. It just looks like they listened to all the feedback and put in everything people asked for

>hype
Bayonetta 3
SMT V
Metroid Prime 4

>rest
If Animal Crossing looks good I might get it. Same with Pokémon, so far I'm not quite sold on its visuals and the lame starters but eh.
Cadence of Hyrule seemed cool, rest I don't care so much about.

Hype
>D X M
The idea of a Mech game where you take missions as a mercenary, customize your character and mech, and can play multiplayer really appeals to me

>SMB Maker 2

Infinite Mario levels, enough said

>Pokemon SS

1488 Also I just like normal Pokemon so as long as it returns to something like X and Y (which I think are underrated) I'll be fine and really enjoy it.

>Animal Crossing

Sometimes I just want to chill and relax. Animal Crossing should be a nice time being able to go through my village and hopefully visit other people

>Luigi Mansion 3

I like Luigi Mansion games

>Link's Awakening

This is the biggest concern. I actually like the art style. However if it is just the original with no extras added on I'm not going to buy it. Link's Awakening is the best 2d Zelda but with no extra content it won't be worth 60 bucks

>No interest

>Cadence of Hyrule

I think an indie developer could do good and really engaging work with Nintendo IP's. Necromancer faggots aren't it though

>Astral Chain

Weeb trash

>Fire Emblem

I just was really unimpressed with the big direct reveal

>Town

The Pokemon formula carries the games more than GameFreak does. Fuck, it could be argued Iwata bailed them out on the best Pokemon games, Gold and Silver

>TSA
Already got this one
>going to buy day 1
Ultimate Alliance 3
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Astral Chain
Daemon X Machina
Pokemon Sworld/Shield
Animal Crossing
SMTV
>will buy eventually
Mario Maker 2
Links Awakening
Luigi's Mansion 3
Town
Bayonetta 3
Metroid Prime 4
>no interest whatsoever
yoshi's crafted world
box boy
cadence of hyrule
mario and sonic

i was super excited for smash ultimate, but when i played it i was surprised by how much i hated it. havent played it since the day it came out.
excited to see how fire emblem and astral chain turn out. i like the idea of links awakening but i hate the way link looks so i wont play it unless they change that.
im not really huge into pokemon but i was interested to see what a "next gen" version would look like, but then it turns out its just a 3DS game so i lost all interest. box boy games are cool. i feel like the bottom three titles wont even come out this year. lukewarm on daemon x machina. hope they can get it to run better than the demo does.

>Travis Strikes Back
Played it, its awful, but I also kind of recommend it? Its kinda like one of those "good" 4/10 games. Its obviously better if you're a NMH fan already.

>Yoshi's Crafted World
Didn't play. Have zero interest. Yoshi games are simple as shit.

>Box Boy + Box Girl
I'll keep this one on my wishlist just in case I run out of games to play. Just pointing this out there: I got Baba is You on the Switch a couple days ago and I have been blown away by it. If you guys are looking for a puzzle/box pushing game, definitely get it.

>Cadence of Hyrule
>Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Zero interest, but I am baffled that either of these game exist. Marvel I'm not as surprised, mostly just shocked that it is a Switch exclusive.

>Super Mario Maker 2
>Fire Emblem: Three Houses
>Astral Chain
>Animal Crossing
Hype as fuck

>Daemon X Machina
Cautiously hyped. I found the demo fun, but the frame rate was really bad and there were some gameplay mechanics that weren't the best. Might just rent.

>Link's Awakening
>Mario & Sonic at Olympics
>Luigi's Mansion
Zero interest

>Town
Wish we knew more about the title, but it honestly looks like my sort of game so far.

>Pokemon
Might get it? Depends on how many of my friends get it to be honest.

>Shin Megami Tensei V
>Bayonetta 3
>Metroid Prime 4
These three games are turning into the Breath of the Wild, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, and Xenoblade Chronicles X of the Switch generation. Nintendo needs to not announce games three years before they actually come out. Seriously makes me lose any hype for the game when its finally released.

>hyped
Cadence of Hyrule
Animal Crossing
Metroid Prime 4

I'll probably get luigis mansion as well but I want to see some gameplay first.

green = will buy
yellow = need to see more
red = don't care

Absolute GOAT
Let's see what just this trailer confirmed SMM2 will have over 1.

>slopes
>vertical (scrolling) levels
>custom scrolling levels
>level objectives - instead of "reach the finish line" you can make it so the goal is to collect x coins for example
>sm3dw style added with things like the cat suit powerup and crystal blocks
>airship theme
>jungle theme
>forest theme
>desert theme
>winter/snow theme
>night theme
>block generator
>on/off switches
>snake blocks
>placeable water so you can have "lake" style levels with only a portion of the level being submerged
>clear pipes
>bonzai bills / large bullet bills
>seesaw platforms
>red 10 coins
>parachutes
>Luigi (co-op play), hints at Toad and Toadette being playable too
>zoom mechanic in the editor and camera adjustment

Probably missed a bunch but damn.
Now imagine how much we DON'T know about yet.
This will without a doubt be absolutely amazing.

colored pipes
it's not gameplay related but it was tiring that only green pipes were in MM

I guess this also indirectly confirms that themes will no longer work across all styles, right?

Older Mario games didn't have jungle themes or night themes or whatever, so those will only work in later styles.
I'm totally okay with that though.

I hope we get a new way to browse levels. It was pretty hard to find fun levels last time.

Did you make use of community websites and third party tools and such?
If you tried solely ingame then yeah

I just hope they find a way to combat the "the rich get richer" issue the first one had where the first people to get popular levels only got even more popular because they'd be the ones showing up for people due to being initially popular. Know what I mean? Kinda a snowball effect.

Yeah I found some great levels from outside the game. Even Yea Forums threads were pretty helpful.
A lot of streamers would put up shit levels that got voted up, which was frustrating.

While only yellow, I am pretty excited for Cadence of Hyrule since Crypt of the Necrodancer is actually pretty cool. I just hope that it's better than the original.
Gamefreak also have a pretty good track record with non-pokemon videogames, so I am cautiously optimistic on Town.
I liked the previous box boy games but I've never been crazy about any of them.

Classic mario didn't have rails for saws to travel along, but MM had them in all themes. This does not confirm jack shit

Oh. I painted it green.
