Everytime I look at one of these pictures, I wonder how did/do these people afford all those consoles and games throughout the years? It can't be just from Youtube because Youtube weren't around when those games were available and some of those consoles just stop functioning after some time.

better chair for once. organize the desk, add a house plant or two (good for the air and looks nice), maybe add a couple of knick knacks of preference around the desk to even things out on the bottom left. a little zen garden would look nice too. also, maybe a lamp, or lava lamp for a touch of better lighting.

Appreciate the help, a plant would look nice, I forgot to add that I do have a salt lamp, which is just outside of the frame. A lava lamp could be cool though. I feel like cable management is important but I'm not very good at it. I often move my things around so cable ties can be a problem.I worry about spending lots of money on chairs because I spent 300 dollars on a chair for it to break. Any suggestions for a good chair? Important for my back also, I work a lot on my body.

I got mine about 8 years ago (holy shit that can't be right). Massive noctua heatsink, also my i7 920 is at 4ghz so this gives it more breathing. I'd need to adjust the heatsinks fan placements to get the side panel to fit
