Yes, I played the game for N64
Pretty great Co-op but goddamn those levels were long. Also didint like you had to 100% to get the alternate costumes.
PRAAASSSSSURMMMMMMAAAAAA
When are they going to mod Sekiro with the Goemon soundtrack?
Mystical Ninja the N64 will always be my jam. It's a pretty simple game but from a foreigners point of view the game had a lot of style as a child.
If any of Goemon’s games get a rerelease/remaster, Yae better get some good fanart out of it.
Also, THE MUSIC IN GGA IS AWESOME!

yep. nintendo 64 and snes.
Mystical Ninja on N64 was one of my favorite childhood rentals. I played it at a con last weekend, even though I hadn't played the game in 20 years I got up to the Impact fight in less than a half an hour. Everything about the game was just so memorable that I still knew exactly where to go.
when I first discovered hentai doujinshi Yae was one of the first characters I tried looking up.... it was very disappointing....
Yeah I only ever played the N64 games though. Goemon's great adventure is one of my favorite n64 games
this is the greatest game over screen ever
mystical ninja aged like milk, mystical (mystical ninja 2) aged alright and has the typical cheeky jap challenging difficulty and i take it as a must play 2d platformer.
both are full of soul and jap references and the most japanese soundtrack
Goemon collection when?
The SNES title.
>MN aged like milk
what the fuck i just beat that game on console and camera issues and not being able to go back to Japan after entering the last castle, it's still a damn great game.
reminder that there's gonna be a translation patch for GG2 ready pretty soon, and there's already plans to translate 3 and 4.
Are there any plans to translate Soreyuke Ebisumaru?
I want Goemon in smash
i wanna watch Impact's movies
What's with all the Goemon talk lately? Did some e-celeb play it?
It's a really great anime game.
AWOOKEEY SHUFSUFHSUH
GOOOOING
NOW
Not that I know of. I just fondly remember the series. If I had to guess it might be smash talk and people bringing Goemon up as a potential character, and people who otherwise wouldn't have heard of the series playing it.
a lets player I watch that gets like, 12 views per video just finished it
I'm playing some of the gamesright now (just started the NDS one).
Maybe it's just a coincidence.
Sauce?
Is there a version without socks?
Underrated series with awesome music and a cute ninja waifu.
See
makes me glad, i would like to play them all, played many of the titles, glad at least all of the 4 nes titles are translated
reminder that ebisumaru saved the entire universe by farting
No.
i don't think so, would be cool tho.
I also would hope they get to translate Hoshizorashi Dynamites Arawaru
You still didn’t post the sauce
I want to get into this series but seems most of the titles have been left in japan
What's a good starting point that doesn't require reading moon runes?
Neat. I've already beaten GG2 and I didn't understand a lick of it.
The first SNES game is a classic. Just don't gamble all your cash away at the lottery or Gradius

Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Goemon's Great Adventure
pick one of those, also those are the only 3 games EOP can play
Well you're kinda in a rough position. You could always just start with SNES game though. After that the N64 games
>tfw MNSG is all about when teh Europeans came to Japan and forced them to adopt their weird customs
I finally get the whole Antonio thing
Mystical Nina Starring Goemon or Goemon's Great Adventure are the best games
There's Legend of the Mystical Ninja but imo it's too grindy and that might annoy you.
Goemon 2 on SNES and Hoshizorashi Dynamites Arawaru on GBC are also pretty good and you don't need to know japanese to enjoy them
>we're just gonna stay here until you beat the game
>kinda... lonely...
>kinda... depressing...
This game was hilarious
Sadly more than half of the games in the series are fucking trash. It's a very inconsistent franchise, probably Konami's worst.
>Mr.Goemon
>Ganbare Goemon Karakuri Douchuu
>Ganbare Goemon 2
>Ganbare Goemon Yuki-Hime
>Ganbare Goemon 2 McGuinness
>Ganbare Goemon 3 Manjigatame
>Ganbare Goemon 4 Kirakira Dancer
>Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
>Goemon's Great Adventure
>Ganbare Goemon Akogingu
>Ganbare Goemon Dynamite
>Maybe one of the RPG ones
You have a good list here, I would add the NDS one but it needs touch controls.
Yeah. I loved the game, but I only knew it through a friend who I was half friends with and half constantly fighting with. I remember one time when we were kids we were playing Goemon and I was laying on a pillow on my floor, my head on the pillow, as he took his turn. My older brother ran up and yanked it so hard my head hit the floor, and I started scream crying. This caused my friend to burst out into laughter, and then I chased him out of my house for laughing at me, all the while it just made him laugh harder.
Fun game though.
You are kind.
I have the first three SNES games and the two on N64. Even though I had no idea what was going on in 2 and 3 for the SNES, they were still fun.
Part 2 isn't too bad to go through untranslated but part 3 is pretty rough. Part 2 is one of the best games on the system though so hopefully the translation gets it some more attention.
The one on the N64 with the extendy arms giant and the sidescroller on the NES, they were alright but they also never really got the chance to become what they could be.
Dame shame this wasnt remastered on the Switch
Goemon is my #1 pick for smash even though it will never happen, so many good memories of playing this with my sister and friends
it would be worth it just for music alone : youtube.com

But it’s not? The bad guys in that are based on a popular all female acting trope that use the star, moon and... the other two thing you collect as symbols of their trope.
That’s way Goemon and Ebisumau called the male generals weirdos (or okama, roughly translates as faggot/tranny in Japanese), because they look like women, for the sake of matching the all female trope thing
