How many hours will I get out of Nier and how does the combat compare to other Platinum games like Bayonetta or MGR?

I played on and off so I can't really say. Google says 15-60 hours depending on if you wanna 100% it.
The combat isn't anything nier Nier Auto or even MGR, but it's still complicated enough to be decently enjoyable. The magic is pretty fun to use. But honestly, the gameplay is not the main draw, and will get repetitive if you're not invested in the story.
