The challenge would be crafting a game that actually matches the tone of the manga/webcomic without making it completley unplayable.

Maybe something like being Genos as the MC (or doing the Donut Steel totally oc player character approach Japan seems to be loving these days), the fights are challenging and shit, and if you play well you win. However if you fail hard enough and get your shit wrecked then Saitama steps in as the MC and you kill the boss in one hit.

There's no "failure state" in the game itself, you can't die, but the fact that you render an amazing darksouls meets devil may cry style boss fight into a one punch affair that totally destroys the tension is your punishment for not playing well. It'll give you the duality of the manga, the rush of battle the high octane combat, with the realization that everything you achieved could be rendered meaningless by one bald dude doing a single attack.

You'd feel Saitama's boredom every time he steps out in costume and fights the Monster of the Week, the sheer knowledge that no matter what you do you can't lose, there's no stakes, no tension, just an annoyance.

Or you could throw all that in the trash and just turn it into an animal crossing style game where you play as Saitama and hang out with your friends doing stupid shit.

Everything speeds up after CE vs Phoenix Man. Zombieman is over in a chapter, Sweet Mask and Samurai's Disciples in 2, Pig God in 3 pages, and then Puri Puri Prisoner, Dark Shine, and Saitama all in the span of ~2 chapters.

Now we're getting to the part where Tatsumaki gets ryona'd by all the Dragons

What's this shitty bandwagon about, the animation's a downgrade but it looks perfectly fine and definitely watchable at least.
Even as someone that is into animation OPM season 2 isn't a travesty like it's being made out to be. The primary concern should be how good of an adaptation it is content-wise.

You could do it in 2 ways

1. Musou style game where you play as all the S-class heroes + Mumen Rider + Saitama + Sweet Mask + Atomic Samurai's Disciples + Suiryu
2. You create a character that starts off in C-class and interacts with the rest of the cast as they slowly become stronger.

One Punch Man is just a series that gets better the longer it goes on. Early OPM just feels so weird compared to everything chapter 70+.

MP100 wouldn't make for a good game, though. There's nothing in the series that you could adapt. The only thing I can think of would be to make an LA Noire style game out of Reigen's business.

If I wanted relive one punch man's story or see it for the first time why would I watch something with sub par animation instead of reading the amazing webcomic or the excellent manga?
The only reason to watch an anime over a manga is animation, and if the animation sucks shit whats the point

Every single chapter since 94 has had a beautiful 2-page spread. I particularly liked Saitama BTFO'ing based pupper, the destroyer of coke-addicts.

It's complete and utter garbage but anyone who was expecting it to look anywhere near Murata's art is a drooling retard.

Orochi's fight will probably take at least two chapters desu. Well, depending on who fights him. Besides him and Tatsumaki's fight with Psykos, it should all be finished in a few chapters. He could, and should, fit everyone getting btfo in one chapter. He could even fit Saitama meeting Flash in the same chapter, to keep up the trend of S class getting rekt.

I didn't mind the extended fights but the rest the arc, excluding Garou v Saitama and the ending, shouldn't be lengthened out.

I've never been to Yea Forums because I've actually had sex and don't really care what weebs say about anime. I'm not a huge anime buff but I liked Ghost in the Shell, I've seen all of those. I also liked One Punch Man. A friend recommended Space Dandy. I was hesitant but ended up enjoying it.

More like it doesn't have animation. From what little we've seen, it's like they're just doing it as lazily as possible.

yeah this always leaves me confused, hack has a real definition, and I'm not really seeing how murata falls into it.

One also made a webcomic where he did the art, he was just terrible at it. he's gotten a lot better though and it's sort of evolved into a real style which has been interesting to see.
