I'm looking for the best pc pad possible.
Is this one gutt? It's the newest wireless one
I'm looking for the best pc pad possible
just use an xbox one controller mate
>analog shoulder buttons
no
like the ones on the switch pro controller?
Xbox one has max ergonomics. Dualshock 4 is pretty good but not as comfy.
Steam controller.
>but muh touchpads
Git competent, mate.
>$150
ARE YOU FUCKING OUT OF YOUR MIND!?
I'm using the Xbox one x pad from my console and I like it. I'm just wondering if there's a better, higher quality choice
>Xbox style PS4 controller.
Can you get a PS4 style Xbox controller.
DS4
If the device is absolutely premium and not as cheaply made as the Xbox controller then yes, I'm willing to pay that.
No. Certainly not from a third party.
The switch pro controller has digital shoulder buttons
Wireless xbone controller not the meme elite one or whatever works with everything, is comfy, durable and you can buy your own rechargeable batteries that last for weeks.
>modern controllers
Fuck that shit I hate having to charge it and having to reconnect it. I stick to using a PS1 Dual Analog or Dualshock 2 with a 360 controller USB adapter.
xbone
Yeah no, those triggers are horrible compared to the Xbox triggers
You'll be pissing away your money. Controllers like this are just made to trick "true gaym4rs!" with money to burn.
Oooh. So what's the problem with analog triggers? I love the feel of the Xbox triggers
this. I feel DS4 has better build quality than XB1 controllers
What's a good 4 player wireless option for the steam link? I already have 2 non-bluetooth X1 controllers. Should I just buy two more and get an adapter? Any other ideas?
People shit on Nacon for having god awful customer service. I owned their fightstick before and it was one of the most quality ones I've used. I wouldn't recommend any of these meme controllers though, anything over $60 is an overpriced meme.
still enjoying my 8bitdo which I been using for half a year so far
used to use a DS4 before but hated how big and clunky it was, and also that d-pad and flakey microusb port
and I am very much enjoying having l2/r2 being normal buttons that's very comfortable to use (and hold, in games that need you to hold a button a lot)
also made me realize that I never really wanted grips
You know you can just keep it connected via usb, right? Dualshock 2 is top tier though. Good taste.
just buy a 360 controller shit for brains
Does the steamlink not have bluetooth?
I wouldn't mind actually. Thing is I can't seem to find a new one where I live
I actually prefer the Dual Analog a bit more since it has concave sticks like the DS4 and is a bit bigger overall. Currently waiting for mine to come in the mail from Japan. (both cheaper and has rumble unlike US/EU versions)
Adapter won't work on steam link
It does but the original X1 controllers don't only the new ones do. I could buy two new ones but I'd still need an adapter if I want all four to be wireless. steam link only has 3 USB ports, not sure what they meant by this.
>tfw there are no more good 3rd party pad manufacturers that aren't retroshit
>Dual Analog
I actually did not know this controller existed. Might try it out.
Really? The Xbox One wireless adapter not a Bluetooth adapter just to specify
>touchpad
fuck no
PowerA still does modern stuff don't they? Their Switch Pro controllers seem popular and most people seem to like them aside from the lack from rumble.
A lot of people don't know it existed since it was only available for a brief period before Sony came out with the Dualshock 1 to replace it. I would recommend looking for it on Japanese sites because its rarity makes it expensive on sites like ebay.
>DS4
>big and clunky
Do you have tiny hands
Yea that's kind of a pain in the ass, another option that isn't ds4 is switch pro controller, you'll have to download some extra hardware bs if you're not using steam but it's my favorite out of the big 3
Thanks for the recommendation
>get one for phone emulation
>joystick input is all of the place on Android over bluetooth
FUCK 8bitdo
Power A's wired shit is prone to break. Specially the connector since they like doing the micro b cable proprietary thing. (their controllers have a small cut that sticks out so you can't just use any micro usb b cable) I'm a HUGE fag so I bought their Switch Pro controllers and 2 of em I used twice to play smash with others and they broke.
it's literally the biggest controller of the current gen though, unless you count switch with screen included
Never tried their other controllers but I really like their Gamecube controller for Ultimate.
Don't kid yourself, you know it's not worth $150.
I want it to be bigger and for Sony to use their DS1 buttons again.
I'm just saying their connectors break user. They are ok controllers otherwise.
Maybe it's the weight but when I hold a DS4 it feels way smaller than my Xbox controller never seen them next to each other though. You sure that's a real pic lol.
DS3, used it non-stop for a decade now.
That's literally the worst dualshock, you fat idiot.
nigger what, d-pad is amazing. I heard wiiu controller is good.
hi user
Not a fan of the DS3, the sticks and the buttons all feel so loose and the controller doesn't have much weight to it.
why do the face buttons look like a salvador dali painting?
ds4 isn't big and clunky the sf30 pro is too small there are no handles and the triggers are difficult to use. the sticks are decent but too shallow and close together
i use a hori fc 4 and don't even use it for fighitng games (touhou and snes/nes/gba jrpgs/platforemrs)for all games on PC and switch to ds4 if i need analog stick
They are supposed to release a SF30 Pro + with handles but they keep delaying it.
as it is now I think it's alright for d-pad platformers type stuff but any twin stick games you're better off with modern xbox/sony controllers. I have two of them and I've used them for smash a few times. I would still recommend a pro controller over it but pro contollers still lack analog triggers so if you require that feature you're better off with a ps4/xbone controller
