I am leaning a fair bit towards there only being one Fighter Pass. For one, I feel Sakurai wouldn't want the game to be milked too much. If the Fighter Pass is all third-party characters, then that lowers the chances of a second pass even more due to his opinion about too many third-parties (even if it's lessened somewhat since the Brawl days) and the mere fact that it would make it hard for a second pass to match the first. If they plan to add modes with each fighter like the all-but-confirmed Home-Run Contest and Stage Builder with 3.0.0, then that's yet another reason to not hope for another pass. It feels like the only substantial thing going for the propanility of a second pass is the potential profit that could come from it, but that's still not a guarantee of it when there are signs they might want to treat the current pass with a sense of finality.
On a side note, I do agree about the spoiler, even if the timing was a hard issue to avoid. I feel they had more going for them than Spring Man as well since Xenoblade is more of a proven franchise at this point in time.
