>before Sekiro release
>activision will casualize souls and make them mainstream
>post Sekiro release
>i used cheat and engine and i am okay with it :)
is Sekiro the ultimate casual filter there was ever released?
Before Sekiro release
not on this level, no. the game had no business being this punishing coming from Activision and frauds are getting exposed left and right.
sounds like you have no business with it either, stinky journo
sekiro is definitely casualized compared to previous souls games, but they went the route of simplifying options as opposed to lowering the difficulty. instead of having to worry about build options, armor types, multiple attack types, etc. you just got parry, attack, and the novelty arm tools
What is even wrong with activision? I’m being unironic I’m sure they’ve killed some decent studios but I can’t remember any
EA has been shittier for years and epic’s shills here made me hate them
Yes but going from sekiro to the souls games would make them a cakewalk as your now a parry god
Daily reminder that if you've ever used a cheat engine on this game you will always be a turbo-virgin
This happens already. I played a bit of DaS2 the other day after finishing Sekiro and danced around all bosses. I don't remember that game being so absurdly easy.
So all speedrunners using CE to practice are virgins?
The real thing you have to watch out for is if they continue working with Activision. If they do, it will slowly get worse
correct
Not really, parrying in DS sucks and takes forever to start, if anything your timing is all fucked after Sekiro and its super fast combat
When you see the game Bloodborned you will now say "haha... have sex"
For Dark Souls 2 and 3 maybe but Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne both have very easy parry timings, Bloodborne even lets you do it safely.
Parrying in DS1 is instant, retard. 2 and 3 "take forever to start" because they have startup frames.
speedrunners are definitely virgins so yeah
>are speed runners virgins
take a fucking guess
What makes you say this? It looks like activision had nothing to do with the game's design, they were only responsible for the translation, which a mod fixes anyway.
It's how everything goes to shit in the gaming world. First something works out and then the big side fucks over the smaller side to make as much money as possible with no care for the future
You're describing bamco's relationship with fromsoft. It seems that they have learned from their mistakes by severing ties with them. Activision wants to make money like everyone else but they're not so stupid as to interfere with studios that they don't own.
So, I've beat Demon's Souls like a month ago and it's kind of a great game. Only the boss with lava and shit gave me a hard lock, how good am I for DS or this game?
What does that item do? I just got it and used it nothing happened.
restores a pink resurrection blip
Activision is no different from other publishers
>beat sekiro
>game becomes a piece of cake, NG+2
>still missing ONE prayer bead
FUUUUCK
You should try and play in release order desu.
The must play games are Demons's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro. But if you are enjoying them a lot, then also play the other dark souls.
>having to worry about build
you mean overleveling? ds frauds won't tell you that
I know that pain
>only want the final prayer bead for the lore
there is one hidden in the building where you meet the rat hunter tengu if you didn't get that already
remember not to use the loot succ near enemies that dissipate into ash as they die or you'll suck up their negative karma
Activision offered frequent feedback, but From had no issue with this as they didn't have to take the feedback onboard. It sounds like they were very reasonable and receptive.
Easy to miss beads:
>Behind the wall in the house before buttlerfly
>behind the wall in the dojo with blue samurais
>Lone Shadow in the Serpent idol in Ashina Castle. (He appears with Owl but disappears during the war)
>other mini-bosses on Ashina Castle that can disappear with the war
Sure, the Blood Will Tell vibe Sekiro gives me is not enough to pick my interest just yet. DS looks cool, but less so than Demon's. It looks somehow less weird, more historical, so to speak?
From what I've heard about development is that Activision pretty much let From do what they pleased. The only input Activision had, and I could be wrong, is they're the ones who attached the Shadows Die Twice subtitle.
Dark souls is LITERALLY Demon's Souls, but in a interconnected world.
Coolio.
They also handled translation and dubbing.
Prob missed the one behind secret wall in Ashina Castle
:)
For its time? Probably.
Mind you, this also eliminates other potential crutch means. Of note, no overleveling or co-op to rely on for game journos.
Is everyone drugged? The parry window in Sekiro is ridiculously long, forgiving, and has no wind-up. You can literally just spam the L1 button and you'll be fine. It can't be compared to DS parrying, that was actually hard.
