New vegas, gained the trust of BoS/Veronica. Then set the place to blow up. Killed everybody except the doc woman, and the lazy eye blonde (and Vero.) Enslaved all 3. Kept the doc as a personal fixer and made veronica and her friend fight to the death. Pretty tame shit really.

I would kill my downed allies in killzone 2 for their ammo. They were never enough medics, and i needed another gun.

Myself and a buddy killed several rather large streamers who were playing a small indie game we both liked. While we weren't exactly hunting them down, it was a battle royal type game so we had to kill them. Apparently we were 'upsetting the streamers' so they ended up stop playing the game. The dev ended up reaching out to me and asking us both not to kill them.

I then realized that because of these big streamers not having a good time, I had probably doomed this small indie game into irrelevance. On one hand we really didn't do anything 'wrong', but I still feel guilty about it.

I enabled someone's schizophrenic delusions on Runescape for several months after which they stopped logging in and probably died trying to single-handedly stage a coup of the Japanese government.

I single handedly got an old Maplestory private server wiped.
I'm not sure how, but when I made my account I had GM privileges. I didn't even realize. I made a new character and what I thought was Dark Sight (a skill that lets you turn invisible and avoid touch damage from monsters. other players can still see you however, you're just translucent), was actually the GM skill Hide, meaning I was permanently invisible to all players and nobody could see me. I turned it off because I thought it was just a feature of the server.
Anyways, somewhere down the line I start scrolling my items and stuff because I was getting far enough into the game. For those of you that don't know how this works, a weapon or piece of armor typically have 7 chances to get scrolled. There are 100%, 60%, and 10% scrolls. The 10% scrolls are more powerful than 60%, which are more powerful than 100%. But if the scroll doesn't work, it still uses up one of the chances. So you could get a super great item if you get 7 working 10% scrolls. Which is exactly what I did. But I thought it was just another feature of the server. It was like 5 days after that that I realized that none of the chances had actually been used up, another feature of GMs. They can scroll things infinitely and their scrolls always work, 100% of the time. Then I realized that my account wasn't normal. So what did I do? I went into the free market and started handing out armor and weapons with RIDICULOUS stats, to everybody. I had been doing this for like a week before somebody caught on and ratted me out (he was a personal friend of the server owner). But the damage had been done and they didn't know how long it was going on for, so they had to do a complete wipe of the server. Everybody lost everything, and it was all because of me.
Bonus: they actually conducted a mock trial in the game with me, the GMs, and the witness. It was surreal and hilarious. I didn't even know I was ruining things, I was just trying to share the wealth

I stayed up all night completely destroying some dude's base in a Project Zomboid server for absolutely no reason. The base easily had 20 hours of work into it. Double palisade wall sandwiching crates stacked 3 high, and a 6 story tower built on top of a house.
Me and some random guy I had met ten minutes prior staircase'd into his tower, looted the good stuff, bashed everything else, fired all of his ammo into his cars, then used his own sledgehammers to destroy the outer wall and most of the tower floors.

when ace of spades got taken over by jagex i realized you could rocket jump your teammates to their death with the triple barrel rocket launcher so i would play the game just to do that
it was hilarious
after about two weeks of this they made the fall damage from teammates less so it didnt work anymore

Back when everyone was mad at chinafarmers i made it to topdog of the server economy doing business with them. Bought all their raw materials at ~30% under market price, crafted and sold at -5% market value with some automation to undercut everyone else. Never got even a gm to talk to me over that despite running it for months. Now aside from me getting rich you have to consider all the normal players who got fucked in the market i created.
And the money i made allowed me to manipulate other rare pets&mount markets.

Doxxed

In Lost Planet 2 there was a part where you clean out a train of enemies and then shoot a giant monster with a canon.
The game is 4 player co-op and you have a grappling hook.
If you hit another player with your grapling hook a couple times you make them roll forward.
To shoot the enemies on the other train you need to either be in the door or on top of the train you're on.
I would just push teammates off the train.

My GF use to play an MMO and made some male friends on there. She was good at the game and joined a guild and would lead raids and help them strategize.
I got very jealous so I made a bunch of bot accounts and reported her for various things every day for a week until she got permabanned from the game.
She was very sad because she put a lot of time and money into the game. She cried and I comforted her.
To this day, she has no idea it was me. She believes it was some angry neckbeard from a rival guild that got her banned.
We've been together for 10 years now.

Drove a popular SL blogger out of SL after he has won a rigged poll for best blog. Just started a 15 page hate thread on a popular forum and he quit blogging not long after.

In 2006 I made an EntMod server in Sven Co-op after I got tired of server owners being assholes for no reason.

I quickly gave admin powers to a few regulars. One of the admins was far more experienced with AMX mods than I was, and even created some of his own.
Days later he asks me to install "amx_exec", which forcefully executes console commands on other players. I was a little hesitant knowing firsthand what this shit could do, but he explained it was for helping noobs set up binds for entmod, so I agreed. We used it for it's intended purpose originally, but then started to play pranks on people for fun, only the ones who we knew would laugh at it.
Later on, he sends me a new plugin he made, "amx_hack". He didn't tell me what it was. I installed it and then used the command on myself.
The words "YOU ARE BEING HACKED" repeated infinitely across the entire screen in different colours, my first person camera distorted itself in every direction, and my CD drive opened up.
I was expecting something scary and it turned out to be even worse. I decided to keep it to use only on the worst of the worst dickheads before permanently banning them.

A few days later I was still thinking about that command and how I could make it worse. Using amx_exec, I thought of using unbindall, +moveforward, +lookright, and +attack, which would delete all your keybinds and make you run around in a circle constantly shooting.
The days went by and no one came across my server worth unleashing hell on, I was getting impatient.
I picked some kid using his mic I hadn't seen around before and threw every command on him. His player model did exactly what I expected it to do. It was so effective that you couldn't even see him struggle. Out of curiosity, I executed +voicerecord to turn his mic on.
I heard panicked sobbing come blaring out of his mic. I had just become what I was trying to avoid all along. It made me physically sick. I shut my server down for good.

I discovered the furrymaps website in high school and found some kid that lived a few blocks down the street from me on it. He had his 360 gamertag listed in his linked deviantart profile, so I started sending him messages telling him to kill himself. I kept it up for about a month before he stopped responding.
Sometimes I would drive past his house really slowly at night to see him playing in his living room. Then I'd send him a message shitting on his skill playing whatever level or specific part I saw.

I stopped when I went off to college, but god damn I feel like an asshole now.
