Comfy Switch Thread

I'm finally playing Valkyria Chronicles now that I have a portable version of it, great game but it's very easy. Next I'll finally get FFXII, which I think has amazing visuals. Hopefully the story and gameplay are tolerable. My best experiences with switch have been non-exclusive older ports that I'm finally getting around to playing.

How easy is it to hack a switch for free games? Now that paid online is a thing and I won't ever use it I think I'm going to dust off my switch and hack it if it's easy to do.

Been playing DOAX3 quite a bit. Literally everything is a grind, and half the slutty outfits require a gamble on the girl even accepting them, but a little savescumming goes a long way towards easing the pain.

It's a good thing I started my file on the non-jap account where the eshop doesn't work or I probably would have spent more money on this motherfucker for immediate satisfaction.

Mario Kart 8 and Taiko, still not really got the hang of 200cc but it's fun, and Taiko I just play whatever, not trying to full combo on hard or even attempt oni yet but it's fun, I like the songs in it.
Any NeoGeo games anyone would reccomend?

How is FE:W compared to Hyrule? Similar amount of content? I did enjoy that game but it was a bit grindy and getting some of the 3rd tier weapons was bullshit.

FE:W has a lot more management of your army, as in you tell what units to go where and they can actually get shit done as long as you maintain a weapon advantage. To some people this means a lot of pausing of the action while you fiddle with a map screen, but I fucking loved it compared to Hyrule's "There's three gimmick bosses constantly spawning and your entire army is fucking useless" shtick that has you solo'ing everything.

On the downside, the roster is hideously, unbelievable pathetic compared to HW. Even the DLC expansion pass doesn't bring it up to a decent amount of variety, and actually makes shit worse by thinking you'll enjoy grind-leveling up literal clones of the base game roster.

I want Taiko but the price is kinda ridiculous when it's only half as fun without the drum controller

I hope the Saints Row the Third port is good. I think it might get some attention being the first game the it's kind on the platform.

Nah, DD is going to run like dogshit on Switch. The portability isn't worth the massive downgrade.

I didn't even get more than 5 hours with my Taiko drum before it started registering places I didn't hit. Bummer, I see there are some fixes online but I haven't tried to open it yet.

I'm starting to think that the rumored 2 new Switch 'models' are actually just a smaller tablet form with some modestly updated specs and a Switch 'dock' that actually serves as a stand alone Switch console with specs to match closely or slightly above a PS4. Together they form a single improved console experience. You can buy either one separately or together depending on what you want out of the console.

Why are the joycons such cheaply made pieces of shit that break so easily? And what's with every Switch controller getting stick drift after a week? My Wii U pro controller and the pad still work like new and I've put thousands of hours of gameplay through them thanks to Splatoon and 3U. What happened to all the nintendium for the Switch?

Eightpath Travler. With my work schedule it has been making me sleepy while playing it. I guess the game is comfy to say the least... though not very enthralling.

I've not played the mini games much, but they did remind me of Rhythm Heaven too. I only played a few and I was real bad, but I guess that's somewhat to be expected.

Working my way through the Mega Man X Collection. All except the first game are my first time playing them.
Is there seriously no way to see a Maverick's name before selecting them in X3? I've tried every button. If not, this is the absolute worst level select in a Mega Man game.

METAGAL is fun

Yoshi's Crafted World. It's good so far, but I've only played the first four stages. Too early ro recommend it or not.

I regret having bought it on PC now that I know it's mobile.
