So fucking pointless

culture in general is pretty pointless in ck2 anyway

i don't see it

is it the purple or the brown that the hand is pointing at

Why? More cultures means more people can roleplay better.

>gothic culture

>wanting to roleplay as a šiptar?

Didn't knew you could make oil back then.

For rp purposes it's nice to have good name lists, helps the verisimilitude
Too bad the name lists always fucking suck shit

It’s the purple colour in between brown Serb and pink Greek.

I am.

it's pointless as far as gameplay goes, some have access to better buildings but other than that it's largely flavor and roleplay, which itself I suppose is important but individual cultures don't really differ much from whatever group they're in.

Absolutely disgusting. I'll be sure to genocide those subhumans on my next play through.

It's actually pretty nice, German portraits with Greek culture/clothing. The only problem is Crimea is constantly raided, but if you can deal with that it actually has pretty good land.

>It disappears instantly because it's on a coast and and byzantium never loses its' western territory

raids are constant everywhere that isn't muslim, just embrace the viking dick or get retinues asap

>Playing pre-Stamford Bridge

I think I wasn't specific enough. Raiders are bad, but nomadic raiders and nomadic hosts make the game unplayable. As a general rule I want to be at least a de jure kingdom from any nomads. They are complete fucking bullshit and make normal raiders look like a bunch of pansies.

>France has three cultures
>"German" is one gigantic culture

>Not playing with HIP

Germans are not human

"""German"""

Oh, don't start with these second hand cringey memes again.

>Germans and Dutch are as distinct as Chinese and Aztecs
What did they mean by this?

>not playing ironman

>HIP is a bloated mess and every game is the same (HRE blobs into Africa and Spain while eastern europe gets destroyed by pagans)
>CK2+ still hasn't updated

>low German
>high German
>middle German

I think they should that. It’s based on language but it’s better than a million meme ethnicities.

Greek = gayreeks

what about when you finish all the achievements

>HRE blobs into Africa and Spain
?
This never happens for me
Hell, any time I start in 867 the HRE barely ever forms
Europe only ever blobs into North Africa in Vanilla for me

import to EU4 and continue

yeah but can you use them as fuel?

I don't play before 1066, and HRE (Or Sicily, if it forms) always conquers north africa, with the HRE going deep into the sahara while ignoring the pagans buttfucking Poland next to them. And if it doesn't conquer Valencia, France conquers it and Barcelona. This happens every game

Usually in my HIP games the HRE is too busy eating itself to conquer anything, wish I had your luck

This game isn't replayable. The grand strategy features are done better in other games, so the selling point is the royal court focus and once you play a game of that then you've seen it all.

Do you play with SWMH? I've never had this happen

Personally I think something like:
>Saxon
>Bavarian
>Swabian
>Franconian
Also, make it so that Frankish flips to Franconian in East Francia and some of Middle Francia. I'm not sure whether these cultures should be in Central Germanic or West Germanic. Let Frisian stay alive in a few provinces too.
It seems like the various germanic groups in the HRE had many separate law codes that lasted well past the 1066 start so I think that cultures should reflect this.

ugh

What SHOULD have been

CK2 is more replayable than any other Paradox game

If only...

Did novgorod survive most games in EU3?

I literally can't understand this technology spread system or how to work with it.
