Ok but for real, why would anyone use Epic Launcher over Steam?

for customers it's not a choice between launchers, but between games.

No it isn't. Why would anyone use Epic Launcher over TPB?

Well, Epic knows this is the reality of the situation

But instead of using all that money to make a good service (which they can't because Tencent and good service doesn't mix), they decide to keep their shit ass program and instead of strong arm a user base through buying out games. A shopping cart is a fucking long term roadmap plan, what a fucking disgrace

>No it isn't.
ok, so you're retarded. good luck with that.

its the best deal for the consumer because the publisher gets more money. This is clearly 100% true every time since more money = better game.

Because they have that one game you want and Steam doesn't. That's the only possible thing they have going for them and it's why they're buying exclusivity.

(they don't actually have that game, but in theory, they could one day)

>why not just pirate then lmao
If someone's pirating anyway, why would they buy from Steam?

cringe and AAApilled

Oh wow look at all these useless features steam has, how can I play games without boardcasting when Twitch already exists!!!!

>If someone's pirating anyway, why would they buy from Steam?
same question if you have both Xbox/PS4 or Switch/PC and you want to buy a game that is available on both systems.

You buy on the better system.
Steam has features you are benefiting from.
on Epic, you only get the game without anything, not even cloud saving.

Uh huh, so why does Epic use twice as many resources despite having almost no features?

The only thing Epic lacks is cloud saves. The rest of those things is just bloat that cringcels care about.

"No" should be green here.

Please tell me how
>forums
>cloud saves
>library sorting
>account sharing
>shopping cart
aren't anything but good features that should be a must for this kind of service?

They already showed a roadmap of all the useless features you want, things take time to make

That has nothing to do with my question.

Because it triggers people xD!!1!!1

People actually do this.

>it takes years to implement a shopping cart
the absolute state of retarded Epic and their shills.

ummmm.... ever try steamworkshop?
its a great tool because im not really sure how to mod my games, but i like being able to add content to games for free!

>$0
>game
>$60
>game + cloud saves
No, it really doesn't make any goddamn sense at all, to be honest. All the rest of the features in that list are pointless nothing when it comes to actually playing a game.

Only unironic virgins use mods.

>he buys games at full price instead of waiting for sales to buy it ~$20
I pity you

If they put the time and effort used in publisher bribing to improving their store, it wouldn't take months to put in a shopping cart.

It quite literally shows where their priorities lie and its not about their consumers

Why would I use either when I can pirate? Steam was the consolization of PC. I'd prefer all new games to be Epic exclusives though because multiplayer doesn't require some centralized servers like Steam does so MP works even if you pirate.

>forums
5 million better ones on the internet, like the one you are on
>>cloud saves
Only good one
>>library sorting
Pointless
>>account sharing
Steam sharing is retarded, giving your account and password is more effective
>>shopping cart
Wow how can i live by buying one at a time

>years
Nice lie valve drone

> it wouldn't take months to put in a shopping cart.
Well youre a developer so I trust you /s
