I feel cucked for paying $70 for this through Uplay...
nigga you still need uplay, why you buying ubi games on steam or epic?
YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RUM
Goddammit I was actually looking forward to this one
yar har fiddle dee dee
Have no interest in this game but I would just buy it directly from Uplay. I stopped bothering with steam for Ubisoft games awhile ago because I know I'm going to have to use Uplay anyway. That's secretly Ubisofts plan is to encourage people to buy directly from them, worked with The Division 2 which had a massive increase of Uplay pre-orders.
Do what ye want cuz being a private is already free

for those of you sailing the high seas, you'll be pleased to know the full game will no longer be always online too. after the free beta the game is going back to offline
>We also want to give you a heads-up that the Open Beta will require a constant internet connection to play. Please note that this is not the case with the main game, as you will be able to fully enjoy Anno 1800’s singleplayer modes while being offline!

>buying uplay-mandatory games through Steam
For what purpose?
why they gotta do exclusivity bribes instead of dropping the price of games so everyone is happy

I saw the gameplay video of the outer worlds after the epic bullshit, I would give you that
Good, I'm glad personally that Epic is finally breaking Steam's awful monopoly. I'll wait until it's removed from steam to buy it on EGS, so i can send clear message I prefer EGS over Valve's dogshit client
>buying any game from ubishit
>publisher decision to limit distribution of the game
When you have enough money and decide it's time to stop people buying your game.
To own it on both Steam and uPlay for the price of only buying it on Steam, presumably (I wouldn't know).
Making it uPlay exclusive likely won't boost sales.
does the EGS respect my privacy? does it work on gentoo?
This level of immersion is unreal
