fighting games in general feel so obscure in general right now. Mostly due to the controversy surrounding Street Fighter and other games failing to take the spotlight from it. I used to hear about Street Fighter shit EVERYWHERE during the Super/Arcade Edition/Ultra era of SF4 and SFV feels like a tightly knit circlejerk of either hate or defense of it. I only see casuals talking about smash shit now.

I think the game is fine, needs some improvement here and there but it's not a complete mess, but for the next game's art approach I think they should either go the ArcSys route or the new SamSho route.

During the height of the '09er era I really loved Street Fighter. After enduring SFxTK, SFV, and MVCI, I don't even play fighting games anymore. SFV isn't that great, and even if they made a SF6 there is no guarantee that it'd be good either.
