Its not a video game
Cool. Call me when you can interact with the environment in a realistic way.
It's prerendered shit you dumbass, not a video game. Nothing impressive.

Are you a fucking dev or something? Fuck off loser.
Watch the second half of the video.
wow a bunch of ruble, nice gameplay
It's a tech demo you stupid twat
>more post processing crap
RTX has more real applicability than this fucking shit
As if you're ever going to see vydia of this quality any time soon
Hit me up when a relevant game is made using this engine, getting real sick of all these le epic photorealistic demos with no end product
now try a person that doesn't look uncanny
and? its still not prerendered
It's okay user, the future isn't that scary
And what is the purpose of a tech demo you retarded cock?
it is infact quixel and blender combined with photogrammetry and diffused lighting and then put into an engine
also unreal engine is a piece of garbage with lots of input lag and detached feeling of control
also it looks like plastic
To show off techology that could potentially be used to make games. Except a game that has such high graphical fidelity is unrealistic and never going to happen with that engine so who gives a shit
we've already had games that use shit like this
imagine being this retarded
its flashy but it only looks good because theres nothing actually under the hood, theres no gameplay mechanics of any kind aside from a ballgun, no enemy AI any interaction beyond knocking around physic objects
its impressive i won't deny, but at the current hardware or even the near future i doubt this will see anything beyond tech demos, and beyond that even if high-end PC's can handle all that AND gameplay the average dev is still going to optimize for console just because those are what the average shitter actually buys games for
as always this could definitely work if devs focused on it but for all the marketing around "the tightest graphics" console hardware is still going to hold shit like this back, but im not sure how much i genuinely want every game to look like a photo instead of having their own unique styles but i would at least like the option for games to be able to have it at all
If graphics from gameplay trailers has to be scaled down then I sure as shit don't think this tech demo is gonna be accurate, faggot
Ok, that's cool and all. But how does this tech stack up against Source 2? Does it support Linux?
this is not real life
the is a 3d game on the n64
My studio is working with photoscanned assets currently, from quixel and inhouse
Over rated, sure the assets give you amazing qulity albedo information, but almost every part i need to retopo, rebake and touch up or clean up
It wont replace standard hand made 3d models, but its a really nice reference and blockout source
I'm releasing this on epic game store this year for free, enjoy :) (posted as this is now a designated engine project thread)
TIMESPLITTERS rewind 70% completed
>hi quality assets
>absolute zero artstyle
when will normalfags die?
The entire point of the engine is you're able to get prerendered quality graphics without having to have it prerendered.
Nintendo HIRE THIS MAN!
its not about the geometry, its more about the material and maps.
Obviously you need to retopo.
Those are literally screenshots from the new Blade Runner movie
So did you watch the video or are you just fucking retarded?
now make a full lenght game that looks like that
>all investors left the chat
>those ps4 graffix once it switches to first person
LMAO
absolutely DISGUSTING motion blur
ye but only real maps you get is albedo
Spec needs to be redone since quixel just pulls them out of their ass and usually they arent that great, normals can be hit and miss, depends what quality the scan was
All other maps are hand made too or procedurals, so you often find that those need work or need to be scrapped or redone
>grafixfags still thinking it's about the graphiks
>but not atmosphere
Holy keks how shallow you are
The best looking UE4 game has already come and gone
