So now that this game has had two major rebalancing updates is it finally fun to play? Every time I get into it it's tedious as all fuck and a chore to play no matter what item I get, did they finally fix it?

not really, the game would pretty much need to be redesigned from the ground up to fix it's problems
I think just making health, keys, and ammo drop more frequently would be a huge step up. That and maybe giving the player more items more frequently, as it stands it just doesn't ever feel right using a lot of the guns because it took you twenty minutes to get them and ammo is scarce as fuck.

Well I just got it last night and it's very fun. I'm not expecting perfection from $15 worth of pixelshit.
I have played 201 hours ETG and i can say its honestly just sub par. I enjoyed it alot anyway.
Here are some short thoughts.
The RNG is absolute dogshit and never feels "right". Keys being the main issue, its always too many keys or no fucking keys. Even if you get the keys the chest rng can and will fuck you with low quality chests.
Some guns are so bad they are unusable, though a few were buffed in AFTA. If you think Isaac is too item reliant then steer clear of etg.
The robot, bullet and pilot are so fucking easy mode they were the clear choice for casual play as they avoid the shitty RNG a little by being stronk. Not after AFTA tho holy god the new bois are just TOO STRONG.
ETG is generally rage inducing and tedious, but it did feel good getting a little gud. That is the only reason to play it i think. If youre good at isaac but bored try etg.

Lichs eye bullets makes every gun the best gun it can be. Its a breeze. Although the gunslingers past is a little hard, but luckinly i got really op so did it first try and will never do it again as going to pasts are for boring people who hate their items.

i did absolutely everything on this game before this new patch and i gotta say the worst thing for me was doing the random run playthrough

Let me redpill you on the new funnest combo mode. Blessed rainbow mode playing as the gunslinger, that shit is actually fun and feels like a streamlined etg experience.

I got burnt out pretty hard on Nuclear Throne and this seems slower with dumber weapons, but I can still fire it up once in awhile for a solid session. Never had Gungeon click the same way.
is the update for switch already or only pc?

Doesn't actually increase how quickly you can kill enemies, so even though you're moving quicker the game doesn't actually feel any faster.

Loving the update so far, still wish they added a stats page(quickest run, enemy killed by most, fav weapon, etc) and also wish they added new trophies
