Yes. Epic is also a terrible deal compared to Discord and GoG. Epic brings literally nothing to the table, is known for having lax security, and they actively avoid legitimate competition with better platforms via underhanded bribes because they know they can't cut it.

Epic games is proven to collect your steam data and send it, it's influenced by the chinese govn't despite them saying it's not, and it lacks almost all of the features steam has. It's quantifiably worse than steam in more than one way. I'd greatly prefer to use steam. So why does steam not just renegotiate the cut they take, and make epic games dissapear? Since the ONLY thing Epic games actually has over steam is that they're practically buying developers/publishers by giving them such good monetary deals?
