Not really underated but not that well known: Fantasy life

I really like Stella Glow and the Project X Zone games.
Everyone knows Devil Survivor and SMT4 but Soul hackers is pretty gud too.
Not exactly underrated but you should play Etrian odyssey, Zero tune dilemma and fantasy life like said

Ever Oasis, even though it was sentenced to death by shipping in the middle of switch-dom it's a pretty cozy game
There's a few e-shop games that are worth exploring too, can't really remember DS game names much
grab puyo pop fever on the DS too

Same with DLC. Nothing has changed other than just not having the convenient way anymore.

you can still get everything online
freeshop being gone just adds an extra step to the process, it doesnt make it impossible

What happened to freeshop? Haven’t been in the 3d shacking community for a while. Thought it ran off of 3ds title keys from other sites so it couldn’t be shutdown.

nintendo changed some backend stuff that freeshop relied on a while ago

somehow it doesnt exist anymore. not sure of the reason. Think nintendo put the crack down on it with updates or something

Nintendo now uses encrypted keys for downloaded games, which completely killed title keys, which completely killed the ability to download using Freeshop.

To be honest I'm not sure if cia installed games have issues when playing online since I haven't been able to download anything anymore due to an error code I haven't been able to fix, but other than that, I have had no issues at all with installed games through FBI.

Honestly just download citrus and the CIAs. Plus, by emulating it you can upscale the internal resolution and make some games look 10 times better

Last I heard, DS was the definitive version.

If I update luma will I brick my 3ds by installing nintendo's update? I'm sick of getting the prompt to update. Would I be able to go back on the eshop as well?

Also for games, Blaster Master 0 is pretty solid, Witch and Knight, Dillon's Rolling Western, Puzzles and Dragons. Stella Glow is also really great.

Mercenaries Tale is an impossibly bland FFT clone. It's defined largely by its lack of innovations on the formula. If you want one more 3DS SRPG it's worth a shot. I think there are two others but I've never played them.

Freeshop is shit solely because it didn't include loads of old DS games that were good

You should be able to find N3DS XL easily at 150.

Ds Games: Megaman Zx, Megaman ZX Advent, Okami Den are three off the top of my head that don't get enough recognition, don't forget you can get CIA's for GBA games, that's what I use it for mostly

You can get a 2DS from Nintendo refurbished for $60 if you don't want to spend much, I hacked a few, put a bunch of games on them and resold them before so I can confirm they are of decent quality. If you live near a big city might want to check Craigslist or other sites too, might be able to get it cheaper

All of these are a waste of time and you will be better off not touching them. Hell the entirety of the 3DS is a farce so just go get a Wii U instead and hack everything from NES up to Wii, much better games and variety and you don't play games on a cramped square piece of plastic like some virgin manchild.
