Probably because DS3 is harder than Sekiro, like most Souls games. Sekiro is straightforward, while DS is clunky and even good play doesn't guarantee some minor fuckup won't end you. The 'tough but fair' adjective looks ridiculous when applied to Soulsborne, now that Sekiro is out.
