Fixing the broken AI of the drones would be nice and maybe more maps with more variety, i'd like to see a map with big tunnels like the mushroom caves of the first game, and I wish they'd change the way shaped glass displays your hp by giving you a full lifebar instead of constantly having your health cut in half even when you're at 100%.

I’ve never had a problem hitting stuff with M1.
The ice wall seriously needs some kind of change in functionality. Freezing is great, but it’s so awkward to hit anything. The optimal strategy seems to be either spawning it directly under the enemy you want to hit, or turning 90 degrees so you get it oriented parallel to the direction an enemy is traveling. I’d really love it if it had more utility and blocked enemies and projectiles, or if it was easier to deploy.
Don’t know what to do without flamethrower. It’s great early on and then drops off into total uselessness when you can’t afford to be anywhere near the enemy’s horrible rape radius. Sprinting would at least fix the problem of it being completely unusable on the ground if there’s a Titan anywhere on the entire map.

It seems like most people don't understand convars/don't know they exist/don't know how to use them.

Engi is sick with bandoliers and mobility even if you have very few fungi. Stacking energy drinks lets you swooce in to grab the skill charge drops and reset all your turrets the moment they die, and wax quails on top make you unhittable by anything except titan lasers so you can spam your grenades with impunity.
Also Dio's best friend because auto-respawning turrets.

This fits the feeling of RoR2 better than the current soundtrack.

if they don't start running when you get close, hit them with something and they'll get up and move.

Turrets die pretty quickly and grenades actually do quite a lot of damage since engi gets the best base damage scaling of any survivor, in addition you can charge the grenades whilst sprinting allowing you to stay mobile as you do damage. Sitting with your turrets is generally not a good idea later on because things will start one-shotting you through the fungus healing effect, it's far better at that point to stick down your turrets where they won't both get taken out at the same time and use the mobility you hopefully got to fly around blasting clusters of enemies with grenades and using the skill refresh drops to drop new turrets and shields continuously.

How do i get better at this game? Generally i play with 1-2 friends and we usually make it to the 3rd/4th wave on rainstorm difficulty, at which point my friends start dying, and i usually end up dying solo against a boss.

Is there any general advice for how i should get good/ how fast i should be going? I generally try to activate the portal quickly whilst grabbing a chest or two along the way, then grabbing the remainder afterwards. Should i be very heavily be prioritizing getting specific items on characters?

No, skull damage is based off a percentage of your max HP. The frequency of skulls firing is based off healing stored, 2x healing = 2x as many skulls. Individual skull damage is the same with and without corpsebloom. With corpsebloom the firing of the initial skull is delayed but you'll fire twice as many, and depending on how long you sat in your fungus you'll continue firing them for a time after you leave it.

Huntress, Engie and to a lesser degree Artificer can all maintain sprint for a majority of their time moving around while still using their attacks. Huntress obviously because she can attack while sprinting, but Engie and Artificer both attack mostly in short bursts which you can easily sprint in-between.

do you guys know how to use the Yea Forums mod to set the fire damage multiplier? Also, is there a reason only fire elites are the types of elites that are spawning?

you mean not unlocking the unfinished characters?

Yes. It works best with quails though since you can just hit sprint->jump in quick succession. Once you get enough attack speed even doing that becomes difficult though without stopping your attacks.
