Franchise has many installments

>franchise has many installments
>they have no correlation aside from having the protagonist
What games do this?

Dunno, but Space Dandy is fantastic.

Half-life kind of

JOJOOOOOOOO

Modern Sonic and Mario

We ever getting like a special or an OVA or something, because I won't lie, I thought the ending was a little disappointing.

pretty sure Ys is this to a T.

Mario Odyssey contradicts this argument.

Isn't it the same Adol every time? I know he loses his memories but characters remember past events and stuff, right?

That's exactly what OP asked for. He didn't say alternate versions of the same character like Dandy. That would be Zelda.

Bones is too busy making bnha bucks and mob kino. A space dandy movie would be fantastic though.

Do Space Dandy and Cowboy Bebop take place in the same timeline? (ignoring the episode reset stuff of space dandy obviously)

But OP is saying it's not a continuous story.
Isn't Y's a continuous overarching story?

Especially with the same characters showing up talking about past events and stuff.

I've only played 1, 2 and Ark.

its surprising how they managed to make a show with an interesting premise and amazing animation something so fucking boring.

Now that Mob is over, it's time for either animating Reigen or more Space Dandy. Anything else won't do

>Isn't Y's a continuous overarching story?
It's not really, they're all self-contained, there's no connecting plot point or overacrching plot.

What about referencing and returning characters?
Can I play the most recent one and be 100% fine?

>birth of a new universe based on chaos (going with the flow baby) due to a lack of a god figure entirely
how is this not the most incredible and Dandy ending possible? Plus it was absolutely Kino, when "I should be" kicks in, fucking awesome

No Dandy clearly takes place in it's own weird multiverse thing. That was half the point of the last episode.

Samorost

nope

So the main protag from Redline is another version of Space Dandy, right? They look the same and even have the same voice actor.

They aren't even made by the same studio dude.

But they look the same, baby
