I dont get the criticism against these pro-consumer channels. It wasnt even 3 years ago when everyone in gaming was bitching about bait advertising and overcharging.
Now some fucks are up on youtube actively pointing this shit out and the reaction, "hurrrr just looking for attention".
My questions is, which one is it? Did you want anti-consumer behavior to pointed out or nah?
If yes, then why demonise youtubers/journalists exposing it?
I don't need it as I have a working brain. I can make my own judgement. I don't need to be stirred up into a collective hate bandwagon.
Jonathan Foster
The hate comes from 99% of them literally reading outloud a news article from somewhere else while panning out as much as they can to reach the 10 minute mark and get that sweet ad revenue.
It's not bad they are pro-consumer, it's bad they take 15 minutes to explain something that should take 2 at most
Carter Wright
How are they pro consumer?
Xavier Morales
why are discord trannies obsessed with making threads about this guy?
David Nguyen
Hardly the point being made here.
But then you guys also demonise someone like crowbcat for still doing comparison videos. And Im sure there are other channels that probably do take about 2mins explain everything. They also get shit on.
John Garcia
This, they could do all that shit in two minutes. Also kill yourself OP you reddit spacing shill double nigger.
Leo Kelly
He fucking got his ass kicked by one haha oh god what the fuck
Brayden Gomez
I don't watch lazy article-reading videos, but I'm all for somebody calling out anti-consumer behavior. That's the way a capitalist economy is supposed to work - self-regulated by the consumers.
Jackson Johnson
By informing potential game buyers on what they can expect from a certain game rather than solely trusting dev announcements like in the past?
I used this guy only because he seems to be the most viewed youtuber in the topic
Asher Parker
They aren't. He just pays Hiro to not delete his self advertising threads.
Gabriel Jackson
It's not his subject matter that's the problem (for me, I'm sure the trannies disagree), it's how cringe and clickbaity he is. His vids are also too long and too numerous and he tends to beat topics into the ground that way. He also can be a spineless cuck in regards to his opinion, especially when he shittalks other people. When people do the horseshoe meme, this is the kind of guy they're talking about. Also, his voice/the way he speaks is annoying but I realize that he might not be able to do anything about that.
>By informing potential game buyers on what they can expect from a certain game rather than solely trusting dev announcements like in the past? But he has an agenda and is biased?
Also >most viewed youtuber >
Andrew Barnes
Which is why its a bit confusing when you see threads bashing pro-consumer channels.
Interesting. I was wondering if you could give me an example of who is a more 'credible' pro-consumer voice then.
I just wanna compare with whats on youtube already.
Carson Adams
This guy unironically looks like the type who flashes women in the parking lot.
Caleb Perez
>believing any sane person talks like that publicly >all tweets on the same day You trannies really are fucking bonkers.
Jeremiah Harris
>*read article aloud* >"uh yeah like okay I mostly agree but also fuck sjws" >thanks for watching support me on patreon, buy my merch...you don't want those dumb liberals to win, right?
On the one hand, good for you. Make easy money. But on the other hand fuck right off. You deserve to be mocked.
Robert Ward
Im not defending the guy since I dont know who he is. I genuinely stumbled on this drama a week ago. I kept getting his videos recommended so I checked em out. And then got recommended some videos countering his and most pro-consumer youtubers points.
Camden Diaz
>makes videos against magic the gathering >literally has a giant neon sign of the magic the gathering logo in the background of his videos
Jordan Stewart
Honestly, I can't think of anyone. I watch Jim Sterling but he's essentially the lefty equivalent of this guy (and a huge fag) but at least he does other stuff, and his clickbait strategy and voice aren't nearly as obnoxious.
William Green
There's nothing wrong with calling out anti-consumer practices, especially if it's coming from the consumers. However, there is something wrong with calling out the same anti-consumer behavior in 3 separate 10 minute videos posted with clickbait titles over the course of a week, each adding nothing new to the conversation and which are essentially copy-pasting the most upvoted opinions from reddit. That is not acting in aid of a pro-consumer cause, it's leeching youtube ad revenue off it.
Colton Thomas
>I don't know who he is He's a fake gamer outrage fag who switches to whatever nerd hobby he can to try and make money off of right wind outrage culture. He did similar with MTG. He has never been a big vidya gamer, he has previously said he doesn't play games and does not have the time to play them, and all the shit in his background is awful garbage bought off ebay or amazon just to look cool and give him the vibe of being some oldfag.
He did similar shit in MTG. Didn't actually play the game, didn't attend tournaments etc and then began attacking booth babes Wizards hired and got basically kicked out of the community for it.
>"I will now spend 15 minutes regurgitating an article that's already been published 90 times and remind you that the SJWs are behind every bad thing that has ever happened to anyone ever. By the way please remember to like, donate, and subscribe to me on Twitter, Patreon, and Facebook. It really helps keep the lights on when Youtube is silencing us"
