It's brainless Skinner Box garbage that signaled the final nail in the coffin of browser games via ushering in effortless idle trash and proved that people will go full retard to see numbers on a screen go up, arguably cementing the idea of indie freemium games in the west.
Of course Yea Forums loves it.

have a few fingers right now, what's a good strategy for spending money?

whatever upgrades you can afford

No, they're fucking boring. The most fun I've had in clicker games, is when I decide to use an autoclicker

I played the earliest version, back then Orteil posted here.

Yea Forums liked cookie clicker when it was new.

I just want an android version

>autoclicker
If you're gonna cheat then all you gotta do is save the game file to pure text, max everything out, and reload it. That's how I finally broke free of this game.

Yea Forums likes a lot of things, only to suddenly hate them when they get popular
to name a few examples:
>undertale
>rick and morty
>pop team epic
>mobas
>battle royales

wish Cookie Clicker and Clicker Heroes had baby

Attached: giHBG.png (683x643, 558K)

Yea Forums always hated those things. If you ever thought the majority of Yea Forums posters didn't hate those things then it's because your perspective was skewed while discussing those things on Yea Forums with other people who enjoyed them. Then their enthusiasm burnt out and all that was left was everyone else with their ever seething hatred.

>he doesn't know
user...

is using a extension to only click golden cookies still cheating?

looks like i'm playing ita gain

Did cookieclicker get to the hate stage on Yea Forums? Interest just seemed to wane after it went to /vg/'s idle games general

yes

I remember when i first played it 4 years ago that I modified the code so every second a golden cookie appears. Those were the best times

10b wives is better

it looks like shit

Good idea. Although I just got bored and stopped

bamp

Unironically a better game than Dark Souls, Fallout: New Vegas, Breath of the Wild, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Skyrim, Skyrim Remastered, Skyrim Special Edition, and Halo 5 combined, even if you throw in 1 real life flesh and blood girlfriend for every game I listed!

Still not as good as watching paint dry tho.

Post em

Well I'm going to go against that trend!
I'm going to hate something BEFORE it gets popular!
What's still niche, but going to become popular in 5-10 years? Because whatever it is, I will hate the SHIT out of it!

Started less than a month ago. Think im doing good

Attached: Stats.png (562x322, 151K)

Had completely forgotten about it.
Time to conscript a new demon grandma army.

damn son. I mostly just let it sit in the background and accrue. Should prolly cash in the 2b chips from this ascension and keep going

That's a big cat...

>quindecillion
Wtf kinda number is that?

>No hentai clicker game on the same quality of Cookie Clicker

1x10^49

Im fairly sure there are other good ones tho

Fuck off orteil

Please download my new mobile game:
Cookie Gacha

Yo, clicker heroes was the shit before CC

Yea Forums used to have a shitload of cookie clicker threads back in the day

The guy who made this used to post on here

I got a horrible cold and stayed up until 3am playing. Kinda like getting colds because it makes retarded pointless shit more fun in comparison.

Going for years without washing your dick so you can sell the smegma flakes to freaks online or eat it yourself if you so desire.

Cookie clicker is for braindad plebs, who like to waste electicity and cpu cycles to watch numbers go up.

Patricians played Candybox

Attached: cb.jpg (797x446, 30K)

That vampire masquerade series.

I prefer sandcastle builder over all idle games on the market.

Rather than a new coat of paint it actually innovates the clicker genre with new mechanics, and not just multipliers or playstyle enhancers. The source material being based on the comics is ass but I'm not bothered by it enough to care. I'd happily go on if any user cares

Candy box 1 and 2 are easily my second favorite. It innovates more than even sandcastle builder, but it's too instant without the benefit of longterm goals.

Should I let the wrinkly boys eat my cookies and farm them after hours if them eating, or should I let the cookies per second be as high as possible.
Which offers a greater outcome

actual incremental, where it opened up and got more complex as it went

not I PRESS BUTTON AND MAKE NUMBER GO UP

It has a lot of content, but it's so afraid of making use of it. Orteil overnerfed like 80% of the damn game because people were "beating" it.
Just think: There's like 20 dragon auras but only 3 of them are viable. There's like 45 plants and people only plant 4.
I wish we had cookie clicker, but where everything is at least usable and you can dick around with whatever combo you want to try out. So fucking what if there's a few combos that break the game? It's singleplayer. You "beat" it. Now try something else.

Attached: what the heck come after 6.jpg (1920x1080, 272K)

the first one.
There is a point in the game where your CPS are basically useless and the only way of getting cookies are with the golden cookies.
The wrinklers are amazing to get tons of cookies in one go, tho it takes several hours

GIRL SCOUTS FUCKING WHEN YOU CHEESE EATING SURRENDER MONKEY

the beauty of candybox was it had an ending, you could just walk away.
with cookie clicker some people are so invested they dare not even think of removing it

Lads give me the best tips for Cookie Clicker please.

>Lads give me the best tips for Cookie Clicker please.

don't start playing it

what happens when you reach over 1*10^100?

oh?
can you elaborate please?

Is there any point to cursors

>pop team epic
what....
does Yea Forums really hate it now?

hell yes wtf
if you are asking this you probably havent ascended even once

Orteil literally posted the first build of it here

its called a centillion
only to get the "finger" upgrades, which are a must if ascend a lot

based

i recommend this one as well
adarkroom.doublespeakgames.com/

>bump

Haven't played it in years but cursors get an upgrade later on that makes them the best in the game. They start to scale big based on how many you have.

Should you only build buildings that are beneficial at that time? Like once you get into the millions should you ever even bother with mines or farms ever again?

A Dark Room is my favourite. It's got an ending and it really opens up once you start to explore. It's not simply resource management.

>centillion
Isn't that a googol, though?

yes, of course. Specially with farms

Put your first 3 sugar lumps into farms, wizard towers, and temples.
After that get the farms level to 10.

ah you are right, i got confused
a Centillion is 1x10^300

>adarkroom.doublespeakgames.com/

Damn I forgot about that one kek

who out here playin kittens?
just researched robotics, anyway to get blueprints better other than trading and crafting?

Attached: file.png (221x25, 6K)

forgot link for anyone who wants to play:
bloodrizer.ru/games/kittens/#

Let me introduce you to a little game called progress quest. Just as pointless, just as stupid but far less effort involved.

bump

no man fuck that game. kitties keep dying whenever i look away, can't take it.

zoomer thread

just make sure they are producing enough catnip when the 90% weather penalty hits, not too hard.

To be fair I think of this game as a race on how much can you cheat while also going through all the events during the year.

yeah i know, but i always return to it and think "i'm gonna play for a while, might as well optimise hehe :)))" and then i forget i removed my safety nets when i start doing other stuff.

>FPBP and everybody ignores it

I'm with you, brother.

Attached: yes.jpg (530x482, 36K)

me too! that said i've played all relevant idle/incremental/clicker games in existence. ;)

Had it in one, but of course the NPCs still blather on about how playing the virtual equivalent of making tally marks in the sand is some magnificent experience worthy of nostalgic praise.

Megami Quest 2

This is what happens when you feel superior based on something you like. If other people like it you're no longer superior to them.

I think by this point people here just don't know why you'd still want to play it. It was fun as a novelty back when we had fun flavour of the month flash and browser games all the time, but that was 5 years ago. Why still play this?

Addiction. Obsession.

I played it like 3 years ago (maybe? wasn't an early build but it was before it got production and shit), had a good run with it but I started playing it again for like 2 months because Yea Forums got me curious about what the new version would be like. I can't be the only one.

>Addiction. Obsession.
I just had this with Ragnarok Clicker before I uninstalled it just then.

Shits dumb.

Not Cookie Clicker, but another incremental game: Universal Paperclips.

I like playing with it because it has different stages and I can never quite figure out if it's more efficient to increase market demand or creativity generation at the end of each game. I also like to see how increasing either value changes how it affects my exact buy order.

It's still effectively the same game though.

Paperclips sucked. It made the jump into wackiness too abruptly and just turned into nonsense from that point on until the ending which was the lamest shit.

I think the hypnodrone angle was kind of stupid but getting rid of humans and then converting the earth to paperclips made sense before attempting to conquer the universe.

I think the mechanics of it made it a tiny bit more of a thinking game since there were at least a few different strategies, which I've never seen an optimizer for like I have with CC or CH. Doesn't change the fact that it's all the same at it's core and incremental "games" are, as everyone else says, brainless skinner box games.
