Why did it become more entertaining to shitpost about Video Games than to actually play them?

Is there a job I can get where I never have to talk with a customer or employee? Right now I go to my retail job, where I get shit on by customers, to my warehouse job, where I get shit on by my cowokers and managers.
That hurt to read. I'm sorry you have to deal with that fren
not everyone is a depressed shitposter who can't enjoy anything
Because you're starved for social interaction, and video games don't provide that.
Because you're a cynical person that hangs around cynical people. This is nothing new.
>Hire someone with experience that will be productive from day one and while they may leave at any time at least they did their job for the time they were working under you.
vs
>Hire someone without experience, spend a considerable amount of time training that person only for them to either a)drop the job because "it wasn't what they wanted" or b) got one of those "experience required" jobs using your company and the training you gave them as stepping stones
truck driver
There is no such job.
you never liked videogames, you just didn't like anything and weren't pulled into anything like sports or music. You like shitposting more because it's the refuge of the most uninteresting people.
Man do I fucking hate job searching. No matter how many years of experience I have, the job requirements seem to get more inane overtime.
Shit nigger how did companies ever manage to make money and be successful back when they actually did train you?
Because you're starved for social interaction, and video games don't provide that.
Only game I shitpost about is Smash Bros because there are popularity ballots and "fan demand" plays a role in the series as a whole. I casually post in threads of other games I play but don't shitpost or falseflag or get into long reply chains. It's comfy.

Most people just remain ignorant, and their mental health is better for it, it doesn't do anything for you to constantly be reminded that your life is finite. It's like worrying that long after yure desd, the earth will die: while it is true, you gain nothing from being constantly aware of the this, and it likely just decreases your quality of life. Better just to ignore it.
There is no such job.
The general populace is brainwashed by Communist/Jews that they are supposed to proletarians, i.e. "working", when instead they should be capitalists and let their (inherited, that's the critical part desu) money work for you.
Those were times when companies were starting and business were new. It was a learning process over something that didn't exist at the time for everyone involved.
you never liked videogames, you just didn't like anything and weren't pulled into anything like sports or music. You like shitposting more because it's the refuge of the most uninteresting people.
What if you just run your company well so people like to work there? Why would somebody leave a "good" job?
I have so many regrets.
u wot
>Money just appears under the rocks, no one needs to work
Why NEETs love to talk about things they don't understand.
Training usually takes a week at best, and because boomers don’t want to bother training employees and are overly picky about dumb shit on the interview, almost no one can get a decent job.
dude, have you ever heard of yang? automation is the future?
There is always a better offer and people always want to improve. Loyalty between a company and its workers is a stupid concept.
>Is there a job I get where I get paid for free to do nothing
Talking to people is pretty much needed for 99% of jobs out there, grow a spine
>Training usually takes a week at best
Ahahahahahahahahahahah
>been working for 3 weeks now
>coworker is super cute and looks like pic related, talk to her everyday
>customers are super friendly to me
>boss is super friendly to me as well
god damn does it feel good to leave the neet life
Be even more companies are being created every day than in the 1950s.
It’s incredibly hard to NOT find some start up company.
>Is there a job I get where I get paid for free to do nothing

wtf are you doing, retard?
Long Haul trucker is really your only option unless you want to man a waystation out in some super remote region.
It's not company loyalty, user. Lots of people just try to get through life, and if you find a comfy job that you like that pays well enough, lots of people will just sit on it. Fortune 500 companies aren't magically better environments than small startups or government jobs: I've worked for all 3 and they're basically the same.
Never been trained in your field have you?
Or do you consider college training?
>we need someone with minimum 8 years of experience
>he also should be less than 25 years old
>he needs all this shit in his curriculum because we want competent workers
>he DOESN'T need the fancier shit because that makes him TOO prepared for the job
I just don't get it anymore
>this is something you have to ignore
You just do what is good
>while it is true
MY SCIENCE TEACHER TOLD ME IN SCHOOL
truck driver
Go for it user, white trash sluts can suck a golf ball through a garden hose
You have to be a black tranny.
34 years old who has a middle management job here.
It's not that I don't want to train a young employee; it's that someone younger who learns my job can ask corporate to give him mine for less money and corporate will accept (that's how I got the job in the first place).
So I developed procedures and manuals in a way that the guys below me do the job without understanding what are they doing, and I take all the serious tasks by myself even if it means that I'll be overworked.
I legit hate young people because sooner than later they're going to replace me and I'll have to starve to death.
So...whats good, bruh?
>middle management job
So literally no one of importance
why do you hate them for doing exactly what you did you faggot hypocrite
>>he DOESN'T need the fancier shit because that makes him TOO prepared for the job
Happened to my cousin all the time, they used to tell him his curriculum was just too good, apparently they don't want to pay what you should earn and if you're too good at your job they think you'll leave or something so they don't hire you in the first place.
It's getting ridiculous, everyone's paranoid or some shit and young people are paying the price. Then we had to hear my boomer uncle come and talk about how in his time he would already be working at 18 and had his own car or some shit, so annoying.
>2019
>flees to the country because city sucks nigger and tranny dick
>look at job application to work as a farmer (mostly using machines for agriculture and general farm work)
>"No experience?"
>"No problem! We will train you!"
>"You're hired!"
really makes you think
it's fine, if this is true you'll get what's coming to you some day
That's why I didn't go for STEM shit, younger generations will just blow you out of the water.
Being an accountant is stable and logic, tech isn't taking our job away anytime soon it only makes it easier.
Based
I work in IT and have seen companies want 5 years experience in software or hardware that has only existed for 3 years. So time traveling required
>study 5 years to get a career
>have to work for minimum wage in the countryside
ok
Eli can be old, outdated and kinda jewish but he is right, you know.
Word of advice: If it seems like a high paying job with stupid requirements, it is because no one wants to do that shit, and they are desperate enough since they probably cycle people on that position every few months.
Fuck high salary "dream jobs" work for something that makes you feel better, not for something that makes you want to put a bullet in your head even before applying.
Always be cautions of those kind of jobs.
Yup and all for 7 dollars an hour and zero work in winter.
What job should I get then?

You forgot the mandatory background and credit check which fucks over your credit rating, especially if more than two companies within 12 months checks your credit rating. Enjoy applying to 20 companies trying to get work and having your credit rating nuked.
>commute from the nearest town eats half your daily pay
>can't work during the winter
Drug dealer
You faggots are fucking weak, what bullet in the head you asshole just get to work earn some money and stop bitching all the time.
Mommy I don't have enough time for jerking off while eating cheetos and playing games!!
at least I have a job and building credit while not being a whiny city NEET.
You just apply with whatever you've got. If you've got 3 years of experience, you're probably as much experience as th eyre gonna find. You just apply for all the jobs you think you're good at even if you don't meet the requirements: worst they can say is no, and if you're the most qualified person they get, you're probably in anyway.
Is this common in the USA?
WTF IS THAT?
Yea, but it is a stable, well paid job.
Because they're going to do the same to me.
Being a lovely guy who tries to help his employees grow professionally only gets you the rope faster.
I know. That's why I'm fighting to stave off the inevitable as much as I can.
Agreed. No matter how much technology changes, accounting will always have the same principles behind it and you can't replace people. Same with medicine.
If only I had listened to my father and instead had entered the Police Force.
I became debt free today, 50k in 2 years.
I'm doing fine
There's plenty of jobs where you don't speak to people, retard.
THE LAND OF THE FREEEEEE
Name ten.
I work a minimum wage happily because the job I got requires minimum human contact.
My mental health hasn't been this healthy in ages.
>If only I had listened to my father and instead had entered the Police Force.
We had that choice back when I was studying administration in highschool, get a desk job in the police while studying and then move on with experience and contacts but honestly I just hate cops.
I'm free of debt now, saving 4000 a month.
so what job should i pursue
Why?
truck driver
so uh what job
idk why companies want people that works in multiple areas to work for them, it takes 4 fucking years to finish a faculty, 2 to finish post graduation and another 4 for every other area you have to complete, that's why companies are starting to get empty, especially in brazil
No thanks I don't wanna die in my 50s
Helping out minorities and voting liberal parties of course :^)

Best part is the "we need more stem" meme when the fact is there are plenty of stem grads but the requirements are bs..
There are still lots of places that will hire on gut instinct and how positive your initial presentability is.
Don't apply at mega corporations for one.
>This is how communists think
Do you not understand how debt works, or do you enjoy acting like a 'tardo?
wanna clean toilets? gonna need experience first.
Why is Yea Forums such a depressed little shithole?
Video games are better than ever and will continue to grow even better
Fucking based. The most fulfilling hobbies are practically free anyway, as is education with the internet. Fuck consumerism, fuck society, and fuck jannies
>moves the goalpost until he's "right"
Okay user
