>master chief deconfirmed by owner >steve deconfirmed by minecraft worker >dante deconfirmed by owner
Odd how phil spencer has been very quiet and hasn't said a word about Banjo not being in Smash. You would think that he would've said something by now considering how highly requested they are, he wouldn't want to keep them on for the ride if they weren't in after all. Absolutely no word has come out against them while other majorly popular characters were shut down immediately.
Nobody fucking cares Go to smashboards or something We don't need 10 threads with the exact same images and copypastas on this board 24/7 for months Fuck off
Except that >We now know the Minecraft worker was just stating an opinion >The Internet is so dumb, the Master Chief tweet was obviously a troll learn how to read context
Lincoln Johnson
Not an argument
Jayden Fisher
Only two 100% deconfirmed are Dante and Yakuza guy
Wouldn't Cuphead have missed the Project Plan cutoff?
Connor Ramirez
The fact that she is even talking so freely makes me suspicious. Wouldn't this sort of thing be breaking NDA? If Microsoft had managed to strike a rare deal with Nintendo for Steve, you'd think they'd send the word out with strict instructions for everyone at Mojang/Microsoft (or at least a PR manager, which is what Aubrey is) to shut the fuck up about it or risk getting black-listed from the industry by spoiling a potentially huge surprise. And we all know how Sakurai feels about spoilers on the internet.
You think a big corporation like Microsoft/Nintendo would care if they suspected you were leaking info? >Find out that Steve is in Smash >Post about it on Twitter, but claim "that's just your opinion" >Get fired and black-listed from ever working on another game again for having loose lips. Conversely >Microsoft and Nintendo know Steve is in Smash >See that one of their employees is blabbing about Steve and Smash >Panic that she is going to blow a million dollar deal and demand she deletes the tweets. It just seems to me that if you were working on a project like this, you'd want it to be air-tight. No talking about Smash whatsoever until it's already been revealed.
Jose King
from what i've been seeing, a lot of microsoft people doubt steve is getting in
>Steve is in, guys. But that's just my opinion. this is completely different to >I don't think Steve would be a good representative for Minecraft if they got into Smash
Kevin Thomas
I love Banjo as a character too but I would be most stoked to see the way Kazooie is used in specials, and what the final smash would be. Something like using her as a gun and firing grenade eggs would be pretty cool.
Justin Adams
I'll be taking this. Hope your endless bickering pays off, and I'll see you on the battlefield! O.K!
>M$ guy says Steve is 100% not in >next day says it was just an opinion i don't know anymore.
David Cooper
>M$ guy says Steve is 100% not in are we talking about the community chick who was saying that she didn't think Steve would get picked or that recent hire that wouldn't know shit about Steve being in?
Jordan Moore
No, the guy earlier this month that spoke with PolarPanda. I don't think it means much, but whatever.
Isaiah Adams
>Gets asked directly if she knows Steve isn't in Smash or if she simply can't say. >Goes to the trouble to tweet an emoji conveying her 'lips are sealed', couldn't make it more obvious she is trying to make it seem like she is obeying an NDA >In the process, brings attention to the fact that an NDA could even exist in the first place. >All of this could have been avoided if she had just kept her mouth shut and not tweeted anything. If Steve IS in Smash, I'll be shocked if she isn't fired. Hell, if he's in Smash, I'm surprised she hasn't been fired already.

I thought he wasn't a Microsoft employee
Austin Baker
>believing PolarPanda, after his “MS contact” flabbergasted
Logan Adams
She should have gotten fired for shitting on the ideas of Minecraft fans if she's supposed to be the head of the community. Bitch is stupid and she should have known that talking about Smash would have led to a lot of negative attention.
Alexander Jenkins
she's not wrong though
Josiah White
>Implying It's time for your destruction faggots. TOAD TIME
Banjo bro here, Cuphead would be cool but won't be in the fighter pass (at least first one) because the creators started rallying fans well after all the fighters had been chose. I sincerely hope for Fighter Pass 2 though.
Brandon Scott
>master chief deconfirmed by owner >Frank "You'll see a lot of Master Chief in Halo 5" O' Conner >343 "There isn't any Halo 2 Anniversary" Industries Mascots first, Banjo.
This. Fucking girls thinking their thoughts matter

This in particular, is what feels a bit damning. If there is an NDA like she is implying, why hasn't she been punished yet or at least been instructed to delete the tweets? Hinting that an NDA for Steve and Smash even exists like she just did, is almost as bad as just outright saying he's in. Better to just go dark and not give anyone anything, pretend to be ignorant by refusing to publicly reply to tweets about it instead of drawing attention to it. At least the people at Minecon had enough tact to say they didn't have any information on that, instead of saying something like "can't say, won't give a reason why nudge nudge". This whole thing is screwy, shouldn't there be some sort of repercussions?
Eli Gomez
So does this increase Steve’s chances? Good
Jaxson Ward
It does if she deletes the tweets or ends up getting fired. If nothing happens, it's sort of the opposite as it implies that there is no NDA to be punished by in the first place.
Hudson Wood
The new guy had his tweets deleted......
Kayden Ortiz
That could also be because he was exposed on Discord and didn't want anymore Minecraft fans lashing out at him. But he actually never implied there was an NDA, he just stated his opinion and left it at that. Her stating essentially that she can't answer the question here for reasons unknown (an NDA presumably), instead of just ignoring it, is the real deal breaker.
Nicholas Gomez
Opinions don't violate NDA.
Evan Kelly
>Her stating essentially that she can't answer the question here # for reasons unknown (an NDA presumably), instead of just ignoring it, is the real deal breaker. This is what kinda gets me. She could’ve ignored it in the first place, but if she commented on it, it may have broken something. Even if he isn’t in, she should’ve known to stay silent. Even if it doesn’t break NDA, the thought of an actual Mojang employee expressing doubt on the company’s own mascot should raise some eyebrows
James Martin
She's not really expressing doubt. She just said she personally disagrees with it.
