Pheromosa just has the lower half of her body darkened. It's a really neat shiny because instead of just swapping the uniform color that was originally there for another uniform color, they changed it into a gradient shade across the body.

Not him but I play with my friends not usually randoms. Once you demolish the main game (a joke) and then the post game (in recent titles, also a joke) shiny hunting is just another thing to do. I usually watch something and zone out. In sun I actually came across a shiny magikarp while looking for a dratini and now that big red fuckin mega garydos is one of my favorites of all time.

I actually just was, got Moemon running earlier today and decided to do a nuzlocke run in it. Been pretty fun so far.
I'm usually the type to just use my starter for the entire game, so trying to balance the team out and use everyone a little bit is a interesting challenge.

I just don’t understand why they want to water it down. You get 6 Pokémon, each gets 4 moves, I mean this is already a joke compared to other games, even other JRPGs. Removing hidden abilities and EVS/IVs and the like blew my mind. Those are not the kind of things preventing new players from getting into the series, imo.

Its just the pre evos that we've seen so we can't really say. I get why some people don't like them though, its probably their designs seemingly over the place.

There is a whole lot of changes. I think it introduces the special split, shows type, power and accuracy in the battle screen and fixes the horrendous level curve. Endgame should be around level 100. It really fixes a lot

There is no reason to really care about Pokemon past the age of 20 like seriously you've seen all there is to be seen in franchise just let go. I grew up on the original red and blue and I played the games all the way until black and white one which I found decent that's it. my good memories of the franchise will never die but I'm obviously not the intended audience anymore for the games and for the anime. That’s really cool I’ll deifnitely check it out. GSC was the gen I sort of “missed” and always wanted to give the originals another serious play.

Gen II is my favourite but vanilla has so many problems it's not even funny. There are quite a bunch of crystal hacks that make the game more fun
