Alright nobody seems to have noticed but I found a lot of stuff out about deltarune, more specifically about saving and loading.
Firstly if you save before you meet ralsei and restart the game you get an alternate menu that has the narrator (gaster?) from when you were creating a character and no graphics, the text is also weird when erasing and copying saves, NOTE: this can only be done on a fresh save, if you met ralsei and deleted the save you won't see this.
Secondly, the above mentioned statement isn't true if you copy the game and ONLY PLAY THE COPY, if you play the file you copied from it won't work, you can get to the end of the game and it still won't have registered as anything. (I only tried this on the switch version pre-update, so it may be a glitch.)
Now knowing that saves are actually a part of the game and how they worked in Undertale, what do you think this implies? That copy games are meaningless? That they are a mere reflection of the actual world? That maybe they have something to do with the dark kingdom? I don't know, maybe ralsei has some power over saves? He did edit what the save screen looked like and he is the only one who knows about meta things like menus and buttons, maybe he has no control over copied games? Anyhow, it seems as though save files and copied games might play a bigger role in the main game, If they do, I would recommend playing a copied save.
