It always bothered me how Super Mario Sunshine is all about water, but you never see Mario drinking any. I'm worried about his health.

I don't think blood is very good for hydration.

You don't really see Mario eating anything either but given how hot it can get he probably stays well hydrated off-screen.
Plus a lot of enemies and things drop water bottles anyway.
Plus a lot of tropical fruits and vegetables are mostly water too and can rehydrate you.

Yeah just drink that shit, keep a glass of water by you always and just sip on it. IF your piss isn't almost totally clear then you're fucking up (unless you just had some coffee.

I do not remember Dark Cloud fondly.

Coffee is a diuretic but it won't dehydrate you since it's still mostly water. If your urine's really yellow when the coffee pee waves hit then you were already dehydrated.
