Why am I finding these so enjoyable these days? Is it because I'm old? I can't concentrate to play most games anymore but I found Night in the Woods very comfy/existentially depressing.
I'm playing Firewatch now and it's has nice scenery but the main characters do not by any means convince as inhabitants of the 80s. One is a neurotic neckbeard and the other is a quippy meme queen.

You've become a s-o.y filled bitch in recent years and hate being challenged in your life and probably thought it was HER TURN
Play Sekiro and get a little test back
Get the fuck off Yea Forums. Don't need weak spined faggots like yourself around here
You might enjoy Yume Nikki and its fangames. Those are one of the few walking sims I can stomach.
NitW is really comfy in its atmosphere and characters but the overarching plot wasn't very good
The themes and implications were good but yeah the actual plot was dumb.
I found it all pretty nice to experience desu
the theme of freaky bad shit happening to people and them just having to go back to having a mundane existence isn't used nearly enough
After playing Firewatch play The Solus Project.
Best walking simulator ever my man.
You are probably going through a phase where you are tired of trying so hard in games. Walking sims are a nice break from most other types of vidya. I did it for a few months.
Careful not to fall into VNs though.
>You are probably going through a phase where you are tired of trying so hard in games
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Take some hormones, cuckboy.
I really hated the bipolar fox fag and how he turned the bear nerd to a life of degeneracy. I kept looking for a way to sacrifice him into the Pit of Terror at the end but it couldn't be done.
Im sad a horror game in the style of Gone Home doesn't exist. Just walking around discovering things in a small but highly detail environment.
Yeah I think this might be it. Perhaps I should read actual books instead.
I don't mind trying hard but lately games seem so pointless to me. Ok so I established my pretend dynasty with their RNG stats as rulers of Europe in CK2. So what?
I heard really good things about Leviathan: The Old City. I really need to paly it, It's on my backlog. I did hear that you should play it with pen and paper in hand and take notes because the story is complex and doesn't hold your hand.
>Some faggot thinks some shit about stuff they has nothing to do with
Good read, Ali Jones.
Check out Broken Reality. It's Vaporwave kino.
I did g8r grl playthrough, never got around to doing a second go around for gay fox bro. You're actually the first person I've heard who didn't like it. I was lead to believe it was tragic in a different way then Bea's story
that ost tho
they are objectively the best kind of game
Solus Project has environmental hazards and survival aspects, which puts it in a bit of a different category from typical walking simulators.
I tried going into this with an open mind and even putting the lack of gameplay aside and focusing on the story. Still an insufferable chore to get through. The plot and characters were not interesting enough for me to play to the end.
>Careful not to fall into VNs though.
haha
>tfw you play 8 hours of mods for a 4 hour long game.
>Careful not to fall into VNs though.
See such brightness really puts the darkness that comes after its all over into perspective.
Shit sucks.
>pic related
>main character is a womanlet the size of a kid
The only thing i hate about the game is this
>her turn
god i forgot that was a thing. gave me a good chuckle
You're probably just generally overworked.
If you don't make time for genuine relaxation in your day, the thrill of playing games with a greater difficulty can start feeling like unnecessary work.
If you make time for comfy books and tv shows to unwind, you'll probably stop seeking that from games.
Or your tastes just could be changing. It’s not the end of the world user, play whatever you like.
It would be better if dev went with more lovecraft
More gay Tumblr propaganda. You'd fit in well on Resetera.
It played well with her immature zoomer personality. The way they encouraged you to jump everywhere made you feel like she was a retarded kid skipping around being a nuisance.
Did the animals correspond to different races? Bears were nigs obviously. Cats were Poles. Birds I think were generic midwestern whites.
Perhaps I was unclear. I played g8r girl too. My impression of the fox was formed just from talking to him otherwise. Perhaps if I'd played his story I'd find him less of an annoyance.
