>if you never played babbys first WRPG you're a zoomer
You know where to go.
Combat is actually pretty good, I remember being impressed with how well Bioware adapted to a shooter after making so many RPGs. I liked part 1 a lot. Part 2 was alright. I didn't bother with part 3.
the combat is actually and improvement over 1, 3 is mediocre at best tho
Can i fuck your mom op.
Is she good at given head, I need the opinions of others because I can't make up my mind.
1. Is good for its time and not bloated with DLC and story packs. You can rip through it in a day or two and be on your way. It is still an action RPG at heart so combat is not great.
2. The main plot is about 10% of the actual game, the rest of it is recruiting people and making sure they like you in preparation of actually doing what you came to do. Some people hate it and find that approach frustrating as most of your time is spent doing glorified sidequests, other people love it and see it as like a series of character driven vignettes to which the main plot is just a framing device to allow them to be told. Combat is pretty uninvolved.
3. Is closer to one in structure and has fairy engaging combat if you are using a PC. It is however weighed down by bad decisions made in 2 and a cop out ending.
>Combat looks shit
Yeah, go play fortnite or something.
1 is good for it's narrative and it's soundtrack. 1's combat is god awful. 2 is good for it's characters, it's soundtrack (it's more actiony movie rather than scifi like the first, but it's still excellent), and the combat is okay. 3 is good for it's combat and that's about it.
Gears of war is the only okay tps ever made and even then it isn't very good
What games have good combat? For future reference.
The series thrived on the idea that your choices would matter "next time". Part of why 3 kills desire to play the series is you realize non of the choices the game shoves in your face matter really matter.
ME1 is the pinnacle of sci-fi storytelling in videogames. The worldbuilding is excellent, the characters are great, and the combat, while a bit rocky, can be cathartic by the end if you didn't choose a shitty class.
2 is okay and 3 is shit.

Mass Effect 2 was honestly and unironically the worst game in the series.
It absolutely shat on the worldbuilding and gameplay of the first one to cater to the cover shooting normies who were obsessed with Gears of War at the time.
In fact, calling it an RPG is laughable, as it is little more than a hallway cover shooter with a skill tree. I don't even count the dialogue options because I honestly don't remember a single time that your choices in the game made a difference in the outcome. You were just railroaded along from one set piece to the next.
> I honestly don't remember a single time that your choices in the game made a difference in the outcome
What are
>Romance options
>Alternate squad member recruitment (Samara/Morinth)
>Loyalty missions
>Crew survival in final mission
>Squad survival
>Protagonist survival
Having main characters die off is pretty much a huge difference in outcome.
the gameplay in me1 wasn't anything worth preserving lmao, dull as fuck, the writting was indeed worse, however, the squad was way more memorable and pretty much an improved version on ther previous selves, and again, way better than wasting time in the same shit planet or lunar base over and over.
Biggest turn off for me in 1 is the thought of having to deal with that god-awful mining and exploration experience. Getting to mission locations is fun and exciting. Having to wall jump for 5 minutes to get that one node is excruciating by the 3rd time
>Are these games still worth playing? Combat looks shit
still one of my favorite games. you wouldnt play it for the combat though.
Mass Effect is a pretty mediocre series beloved by zoomers who don't actually like RPGs they just like interactive movies and banal "romance" shit.
