No biting for a ton of damage then swimming away like the Reaper Leviathan or Ghost Leviathan...

>no biting for a ton of damage then swimming away like the Reaper Leviathan or Ghost Leviathan, this fucker just grabs you, lets you contemplate your mortality for a moment, then swallows you whole

At least the vore fans will be happy.

Subnautica genuinely unnerves me.

Sea of thieves did it better

It just like chocolate.

This creepy bastard makes me think we're going to finally get a dangerous bottom-dwelling leviathan, if they make it walk along the sea floor with its legs and only swim for short distances or to chase after you.

Are they ever gonna make a leviathan that's not some variation of "snake thing with weird mouth"?
ok maybe the dragons/emperor but they looked dopey af

You're looking at one, the Chelicerate is a shrimp-shark with a camel spider's mandibles. They've also got the Ice Dragon on the back burner.

Being underwater is what creeps me out. The monsters are pretty meh.

I have already contacted my team of specialists at Eka's portal. We are working on it.

is this going to take 3 years of early access before its done too?

so uhh, hows the sound design on below
zero?

The Reaper always 1 hit you outside of a sub, though. I think you just instantly died with no animation, though.

The reaper leviathan was literally the only dangerous leviathan in the original game.

Sounds as good as the first game's, as far as I can tell. The creature sounds are great, the ambiance and music is soothing.
>that unearthly shriek the Ice Worm makes when it explodes from the ground besides you

Reaper only killed you if you were less than 80 health, if you had more it would deal 80 damage with an attack then move off.

This and Op are the first fucking enemies in that game who look genuinely terrifying. The reaper was a little but had a goofy face.

The first one did. Below Zero fails to do this for me with how they fucked the atmosphere.

I had more trouble with the Ghost Leviathans, those fuckers were super-aggro, especially the three in the Lost River.

Why don't you say that to my face, motherfucker.

You're pretty much invincible once you get the big sub. Any aggro is solved just by cutting the engines and using your ability.

If you're not horrified by the thought of someone rubbing his face buttocks in your face I have several questions.

>taking the Cyclops into the Lost River
Ha ha ha no.

Lmao what? Did you seriously use the walker for that entire last stretch of the game? Because it's laughably easy to take the cyclops through there and it's not even dark or dangerous. The endgame was a real disappointment desu.

>be forced to scuba dive as a child
>purposefully failed the written tests over and over because of an unrelenting fear of the deep
haven't ever dived since
