I really have no idea what Banjo Kazooies chances are. I got Ridley, Roolbros got their boy after being supportive to Rdleyfags for so long. So I'd love to see Bear and bird make it too. However Nintendo chose the DLC even if it was out of characters Sakurai suggested. Nintendo could make K Rool me an exclusive character in MK XI for Switch if they wanted, and neither Rare nor Microsoft wouldn't be able to do anything to stop that. Heck, people keep forgetting that K Rool appear in Gamecube and DS games, and in the Smash trophies, long after Microsoft bought Rare, or the fact that IP wise. K Rool is in the same boat as Diddy, Kranky, Dixie, or even Crystal in Star Fox. Why Nintendo didn't use him for even the DK reboot, I don't know, maybe they wanted to distant themselves from Rare to give the reboot it's own identity, but in any case, there was nothing stoping them or Retro of doing so if they wanted.
