The fanfare in the game feels so cheeky, like they're in on the joke. Every movie get referenced as far as I know. Plus references from other Spider-Man games, some fighting animations are directly ripped from Spider-Man 1-2.

Costumes might mean something. Me thinks they were hinting at Iron Man VR since last year with the DLC costume. Another skin that seems off is Ghost Rider. Perhaps hinting at what's to come.

I played the game recently and I thought it wasn't that fun to be honest.
A lot of stuff can easily be accomplished with the same special move and collecting items and upgrading stuff wasn't that fun either.
Also the shoehorned stealth sections are really boring

All of the costumes come from spider-man comics, and spider-man was the one who wore them. There is no ghost rider costume.

The game was great. The shit heap DLC probably killed the hype a little. I was psyched for even more Man of Spider but the Black Cat one fucking sucked and was NOT worth the price of admission. The second one was barely better and I don’t think I even bothered going back for the third one but I assume it was also bad since I never heard a word about it after release

The setup was there for them to do so much more, they could have done an amazing final act and actually finished a whole story in a single videogame (fucking crazy idea, right?). The way they teased Harry so hard in the main game and talked about him coming home before the end of the year, they could have actually moved the world forward, gone into winter (it would have been so perfectly timed!) and had a real climax. Instead you just fight literal who's with the help of some other literal who's.
