what is your opinion on this game 7 years later? will tekken x streeg fighter actually come out and what would you like from it?

No. I wanted Tekken x Street fighter.

It was the first of Capcoms awful fighting games Era. Even after is was patched, it was only meh. I really wanted to like it to, since I was a Tekken fan but hadn't really played SF since super turbo and alpha 3.

It was a good game once the final patch arrived. The problem is that it was so bad before that it killed any competitive scene.

the artstyle and models are really ugly on some characters and okay on others. mostly SF characters for the former and tekken for the latter. the gem system is stupid. the stage graphics are like an early ps2 game. alright gameplay though

the ps3 dlc was also kinda silly. what does infamous have to do with namco or capcom? also miss me with that gay failed cat mascot shit. box art megaman is a good joke character idea but pacman is so lazy that they couldn’t think of a moveset so they just slapped him on a mech. just don’t even put him in at all in that case

I really enjoyed SFxT after the 2013 patch but all of my friends went back to SF4. More FGs need to experiment with multiplayer tag modes.
dudley + asuka was a v. fun team

It was a piece of shit that demonstrated how far desperate Capdrones would go to shill for their mother company
They'll talk shit about other games and say "oh you need to learn how to accept criticism and be mature about it" but then when someone criticizes their daddy capcom game, they have a panic attack and get into blind canadian rage

Could've been decent. It was legitimately cool seeing Tekken characters in SF mode but had a ton of janky stuff.

It got a lot better, but by the time it had been patched everyone had already bounced back to SF4 or Marvel. Tekken players weren't big on the game either as it didn't have the 3D gameplay that kept them playing Tekken in the first place. Judging from how 2D characters transferred to 3D in Tekken 7, I think if they did Tekken x SF they might actually be able to pull it off.

game is no joke the most advanced street fighter game ever. the amount of weird shit the tekken characters can do is insane, like kazuya having 3 versions of a special attack and three different ex versions of the same special attack.

game was fantastic after the 2013 update but capcom screwed the fans too hard at that point.

pretty funny looking back actually, sfxt is undeniably better than sfv but there isn't another capcom game for everyone to go running back to (like there was sf4)

SF4-and-beyond artstyle isn't my cup of tea so I never gave it a chance but I'm still hoping that Bamco/Harada releases Tekken x SF sometime in the future. Akuma looks and plays great in T7 so I'm excited about the idea of playing with SF characters with a more pleasing artstyle

This threw me off when I first played through the story, but I kind of like it now.

Almost good but there's a bunch of bullshit I dont like such as running not being an option and the normals of every character doing the same damage except for a handful of exceptions, as well as the miniscule stage list

how come some characters like guile speak jap but others speak english?

It was a pile of shit that could have been good but wasted its potential for meme gems.

The only good thing about it is that it led to based Hugo, Poison, Elena and Rolento making the jump to SF4
