>gets sick because his father didn't told him he was a god
>even though this is meant to take place after the previous gow's and such thing never happened

>and such thing never happened
The fuck are you talking about?

Ragnarok better be good. Still though, they practically used most of the 9 realms in this game. Where else is there to use except for Midgard and Asgard?

I get the feeling it will be Thor in the sequel and Odin in the third game.

Is there a reason why Thor, Odin and anyone else shouldn't be dealt with in one game? Unless you're implying that Kratos dies fighting Thor, then we get a long timeskip to when Loki becomes an adult and they focus on Odin and Ragnarok in the final game?

The story was just about getting the ashes to the highest point, revealing shit and setting up the sequel.

How about we finally head to Eygpt? What the fuck Eygpt Gods were teased as far back as GoW 1.

>This is a prequel
The fuck are you talking about

Can't wait for all that weeb shit in GoW7

Tyr's chamber set it up so we can kill gods from any religion,Chinese/Japanese gods too judging by what Atreus lifts. We can finally settle the score between weebs and westaboos.

>Sequel when
Soonish. The entire studio has been dedicated to making the sequels before Atreus's voice actor grows up/the popularity wanes.

Go back to the house post game

I liked him for the most part but I wonder if they will follow his true nature and maybe time-skip him ahead a few years.

They only used small sections of the other realms. There is no reason they cannot expand.

I was just about to try this.

Oh shit, son

death of thor and fight with freya in the next game, death of freya and odin in third

Will Atreus kill Kratos?

>That reveal though
What about it? It was retarded seeing as that makes the world serpent his kid.

He didnt say that lol

Kratos never got sick

Didn't it say it already knew him?

Kratos vs Nine-tails

>Is there a reason why Thor, Odin and anyone else shouldn't be dealt with in one game
Same reason they weren't all dealt with in this game

I want to fuck Freya!

>go inside the world serpent
>no fights or anything cool inside, it's just a way to take you to the final fight which is the first fight but with Metroid Prime 2 light/dark mechanics
That was really the disappointment cherry on a meh sundae

Kratos vs Guan Yu will be weeb kino

Atreus calling in the serpent was the shiznit

But who will win in a fight between Kratos and the monkey king?

Kratos didn't start out as a god though

Kratos was half God and half human thinking he was human. Atreus is half Greek god and half giant thinking he is human.

Mimir says Atreus is part god, part giant and part human

He's literally manbearpig

>mythology says loki is the world serpent's father
>world serpent thinks atreus looks familiar
>world serpent was kicked to the past
atreus fucked a snake, it's literally canon

>Atreus, his dad and a third head were in Atreus sons mouth balls deep

so why the hell are brok and sindri called the huldra brothers? are they sluts seducing men on a forest or what?

Wait, you did realize he was Loki by like the halfway mark? Maybe fewer people are passingly familiar with Norse myth than I thought.

sadly norse mythology is barely represented, there are thousands of greek movies and shows but the only norse movie I can think of right now is thor, and it portrays everything poorly

Nope, I didn't have a clue until the end. I wondered why Loki wasn't in the game until it turns out that he has been there the whole time.

>he also fathered a dog and a hell giantess

Huh. I knew the stranger was Baldr before the first fight was over. I assumed they'd just changed things so that Kratos was going to kill him till Sindri gave Atreus the mistletoe arrows, then his skill with language, "tricky" fighting style, and parentage all clicked for me. I guessed his mother's identity at that point as well.

Don't forget Sleipnir, he was mother to that horse.

Kratos will be forced to kill his evil son and will blame Odin for whatever reason, then the cycle repeats, but with the Norse gods.

I expect Kratos will sacrifice himself for Atreus' sake, possibly in the showdown with Freya. He'll get better most likely, this isn't exactly his first rodeo.

MY DAD SAID

Wasn't much of a surprise if you knew anything about Norse mythology before going in.

Calling it now, either Thor was sent to the house to kill loki or Odin will kill 'Loki' for being one of the main causes of Ragnarok and for being a crossbreed and cause Kratos to go on another rampage.

I don't think Thor went there to kill anyone, rather just to talk. No way they would start off the game with immediately taking him on.

It looked like he was getting Mjolnir ready to fuck some shit up

>No way they would start off the game with immediately taking him on
You start the 2018 game fighting the final boss, just not able to kill him. I can easily see it as Odin sent Thor to kill the causes of Fimbulwinter starting early, failing to kill Kratos, but managing to kill Artreus and causing Kratos to become consumed with rage once more.

I expect he's pretty pissed about the deaths of his brother and sons, also he immediately draws Mjolnir, also also Thor's not known to be much of a talker. There has to be some inciting incident to get Kratos and Boy to take on Odin's regime, blowing up their house and costing them much of their accumulated equipment and power is a pretty decent way to start the game.

Did the other son actually die? I wondered if he was coming back like Baldur.
