The card textures on PC are completely encrypted and thus not extractable, I assume they did it on purpose so that people don't rip them and print them to use in Japanese arcades.

Switch version doesn't have them encrypted, but they are in Switch's proprietary XTX texture format.
Problem is the only existing XTX converter hasn't been updated in forever and doesn't convert the card textures properly.

The game has absolutely humongous amount of single player content, all of the single player story missions from the arcade version from start of SDBH up to Universe Mission 2 (halfway through Prison Planet arc up to Bojack fight/Golden Cooler) as well as brand new story mode specially added for this version that serves as a bridge between Xenoverse 1/2 and Heroes.

Knowing bandai namco. They will release another DBH with all the old missions in a new game. They know people will buy the game 3 more times. Like they did with the 3DS versions.

3DS ones didn't add missions backwards, only forwards.
They seem to be hell bent on forgetting regular Heroes ever existed cause it's all rebooted now as Super DB Heroes, same reason why they've been reprinting all the old DBH cards as SDBH cards.
Not all of them are reprinted like that but vast majority of them are.
And those that don't have SDBH reprints yet, you can remake yourself using the Card Creator.

Also, fun fact, Devilman is in the game and has the Devilmite Beam.
For those that don't know who that is, it's a character from original, pre-Z Dragon Ball.
Devilmite Beam is his signature ability that kills anyone that it hits if they have even an ounce of evil in their heart/soul.
Kid Goku was hit by it but it did nothing to him because he was pure good idiot boy.

Anyway the reason I mention this is because Zamasu is one of the few characters in the game that are IMMUNE to Devilmite Beam, like Goku.

Why would I play a game designed for multiplayer against computers for a huge campaign? That sounds dull as fuck.

SS4 Vegetto Xeno isn't in the game either cause he's from UM5 and this game goes only up to UM2.

There's 26 placeholder DLC slots on SteamDB though so there's a very huge chance of them releasing the other Universe Missions later on as DLC.

I liked the anime version except for the dumb pink scythe "lol even I dunno how it works lmao" and the fucking ending (and I don't mean Zeno Button) with Purple Goo Zamasu, Genki Dama Sword and Infinite Sky Zamasu bullshit.

Manga did the whole Trunks involvement for spitting him in half -> Goo Zamasu -> Infinite Zamasu much better.
Vegetto vs Fusion Zamasu fight was also better in the manga.
Everything before that was basically better in the anime.

I'm pretty sure the cards used in SDBH are IC cards, it's how it can expect you to swipe it like crazy and shit without some scanner bugging out, the whole play table reads where the cards are and what cards they are based on the IC chip inside, the Hero card is just a read/write card as opposed to simply being read so its data can be updated. I mean I don't know that for certain but that would be my guess.

Those are either official or fanmade photos, not the same as actual renders.
Anyway the card artworks are still in Japanese even in the English version so the missing part doesn't really matter for us, the important part is just knowing which cards are there and we can see that from the non-corrupted portion.

I love MTG and somewhat like Yugioh sometimes when it isnt a broken piece of game. I like Dominion and used to play when Hearthstone wasnt that bad and I also love slay the spire.

super has a couple but they are soulless, just like the show.

It plays like none of those since you don't build a large deck of cards.
You build a team of 7 cards/fighters that need to synergize as best as they can with eachother and then place them on a board with 4 rows.
3 frontal ones are for attacking and farthest back one is for resting.
You need stamina, each card (character) has stamina and uses it for attacking depending on which of the 3 attack rows it is in (the farther forward the stronger attack but more stamina used).
Then there's all the QTE-like aspects involved such as timings and having to manipulate cards in certain way.

This doesn't play like those, it's far simpler. You have a team of cards you deploy of 3 different types, cards of the same type attack together, some cards have special abilities you have to physically move the cards to activate. This is based on an arcade game, and arcade games need to be designed in such a way that they can come and go quickly.

For a Carddass game closer to MTG look into the recent Zenonzard, it's a proper TCG with a soon to be released app wherein you can fight alongside an AI Companion that learns from you as you play. The game is similar to MTG but with a few different mechanics to set it apart.

Game devs encrypt and jumble their game files all the time. They just hate people looking into them.

There's 3 attack rows, depending on which one you put your card into, it generates more powerlevel/attacks better but uses up more stamina.

Yes if that's the super attack that you give him.

Front row uses 3 ki bars, focused on attack
mid row uses 2 ki bars, even attack/defence
back row uses 1 ki bar, focused on defence

It's designed for Switch (in fact in Japan it's Switch only, no PC version) and the touch input really helps with the card moving/rotating shenanigans.

I'd disagree on this part, because I found the manga making Trunks utterly useless really retarded. What was the point of revisiting this character and stressing how much stronger he'd gotten if he couldn't contribute to the fights at ALL? The anime failed to explain it properly, but Trunks just getting Rage form as an incomplete version of Blue that has a very basic grasp of god ki without proper control would be perfectly serviceable in keeping him a participant in the action. look up Vegeta's challenge in custom missions (Code: E7m6wun)

its just 1 opponent (Vegeta SSBEvo) with 5600 hp and counter rush, and also its a SDB battle.

in order to maximize your speed, you are gonna need:

>A card with a REALLY strong Special (i have Ultrainstinct Goku (UM1-SEC))
>1* Tien (UM1-22)

Tien's ability as a supporter gives a free special attack tho whoever is linked to, regarless of HE.

all you need to do is to put all your characters in the front line, link up Tien with UI Goku and win the CI Goku is in, Easy victory! 1 dragon ball and A SHITLOAD of ultrarare prizes.

ok, i recommend you get the UM1-SEC Goku card (available in the UVM1 gachas, both normal and rare.)

also, if the problem is the CI, you can try to look up an item or character with an ability that can, if not reducing you CI speed, increase Vegetas speed.

i have my avatar equipped with the 'Super barrier' abiklity item, it increases the enemy CI speed inmediately when your equipped character attacks.

What are the settings for the mission? Have to find something similar since I'm on Switch.
Also wouldn't it be easier to make a custom card able to do the big damage?

The card is just for Goku, the rest are images on the card to make it look cooler. You have to use your other cards to summon the rest.

I'm too lazy to look, but what are the gimmicks of each set? I noticed a few had ones like spirit bomb, dragon fist, shenron and suit cards.

It's usually just stat bonuses. Like one set will give a character +2000 power. But if you have 3 characters from the set that have the same skill they get extra power.

So having other cards that can summon Shenron, along with the time loli I have that already does that would actually help?

IIRC Shenron summoning is limited to one character only, so you'd be wasting the other characters' abilities
