I have been continuing to play recently because of the Arch Tempered back-to-back releases that we've been getting. I also have friends that I help with certain hunts and I just enjoy the combat of the game in general.

Its steep, but if you learn effectively when beginning then it'll be easier to get over the initial hump. kinda easy to pick up but once you actually start playing Tekken then it gets hard.

Tekken 4 is the best tekken game in terms of story, aesthetic, music, characters and overall presentation. But its by far one of the worst tekkens gameplay wise. Its really unbalanced and just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

My favorite Tekken is probably Tekken 5 DR, really balanced, amazing roster, fun game. I miss that game sometimes but 7 in terms of gameplay is really fulfilling.

I'm trash. Also a third worlder, so it just makes sense.

THE GOOD:
Warframe has really enjoyable movement of any video game I have played. Its combat is enjoyable for a third person shooter. The free to play model is "pay not to grind." In a round about way, you can even grind out the currency you have to buy by selling gear parts to other players. Most things in the game can be bought with the the paid-for-currency while also allowing you to grind out the materials to build it yourself. The developers post their drop tables, letting you know what your chances of getting something are. The developers regularly push out some form of new content. The community is rather nice if you care for that. They are very good about not spoiling anything from the story quests.

Warframe and weapon modding adds a lot to the game where you can change almost any gun to work how you want it to. The best I can think of how to describe it is, think of how borderlands advertises it has a million billion guns, but rather than shifting through the pile to find the gun you want, you get to pick the gun you want in borderlands.

THE BAD:
For new players, a huge flaw is that the game doesn't tell you anything outside of what you could easily figure out on your own. If you don't like third person shooters, I don't think you will like this game. There is no endgame content, like Destiny, you have a grind for special weapon mods and your warframe's appearance. The game gets grindy and you will hit walls where you can't do what you want because you haven't leveled up your Mastery Rating which is done through leveling up guns, warframes, and doing missions or PvP. PvP is tacked on it feels like.

the worst part about it is that's even the total hour count. There's even more hundreds of hours when I just used the SMNC client. I want these hours of my life back.

Let's say that takes up another hour from your day. That leaves you with about 6 hours of down time. Do you have a job? Let's say you have a part time job, working 4 hours per day. That leaves you with 2 hours of nothing to do but play games.

How on earth could you have six, seven, and eight thousand hours spent playing video games? Two hours x five days = 10 hours, plus another absurdly long ten hours x two weekend days = 20 hours for a total of 30 hours per week playing video games? You would need to do that for four years just to reach 6000 hours of time played on one video game.

That is truly pathetic. Don't tell me that you spend even more time per day playing video games than I estimated. That would make you even more of a loser than you already appear to be. You all need to take accounting of your lives because you are just throwing your whole lives away.

You’re vastly underestimating how little people on Yea Forums value their lives. 40% of people here probably don’t have a job, little to no obligations, and live off a stream of fixed income (either parents or disability checks). This leaves them at least 15-17 hours max to play daily. Other people may be in college (more time to spend on vidya than highschool) and probably average 4-6 hours a day (This is me). MOST people in general care about how good they are at the game they play so this is also a factor.

I think that's what's inherently wrong with rpgs. You always get to the point where you've outscaled everything and it no longer becomes fun.
I think that's why the Souls games were so popular, they retained their difficulty quite a while through.

I am genuinely curious how people can actually put 10's of thousands of hours into games, you guys realize 10000 hours is 400 days, that means you have spent an entire year playing one game, like jesus fuck.
