>All YouTube videos are literally at the end of the game after ministry invasion
What's the fucking point???
I want skills now!
Sekiro exp farm

It's like you'd rather someone else play the game for you
No but fuck grinding
This is not final fantasy
It just gets more efficient to straight up grind towards the end because enemies give you more and more money and xp, especially in final world state.

This one starts off with early game up until 1:50 then it goes mid game and then end game
The secret to Sekiro is realizing that you're equipped to beat every single boss with great efficiency from the beginning of the game. You dont need anything but your basic tools, you dont need to farm skill points. Buy the firecrackers and divine confetti and itll be all you need.
But I want muh curazy moves
You don't need them, son. Remember the true iron code
>strike down all that attempt to slow your progress
>deflect all that must be deflected
Hesitation is death.
You can farm the three rats before the bull. Good return, decent mats, decent money, fast, easy, and early game.
>You can farm the three rats before the bull. Good return, decent mats, decent money, fast, easy, and early game.
I'm doing them and gun fort dude but it's slow at 270 per rest.
I'm gonna get the fire fan now and see
>It's a seven spears pushes you into the fire to die instantly episode
He's not that bad, but it's bullshit that fire doesn't hurt him.
Also Lazurite flame buff works the same as confetti, can do a stealth kill on shichimi warriors with it on. Not sure if it stacks with confetti though, since using Lazurite flame removes the confetti icon from below the hp bar, but sekiro still has the punk flames on him, anyone confirm?
Each run should take less than a minute.
you can sneak right up on the ninja next to the Mibu Village idol for tons of exp early game. I think you need to have the sound muffling ability unlocked or he will detect you though
Just run through Hirata Estate, you'll get at least 3 levels for a full clear.
>Mibu village
>Early game
Nani?
>farm 6 skill points so I can have atleast 1 final skill to get the last skillbook from the tengu guy
>get shadowrush or whatever it's called
>it fucking sucks and eats emblems
Same. What a fucking waste. I should have been investing in the Asshina tree.
Since like 70% of the game is open to you after beating the first boss, a lot of areas can be "early" just depending on which way you wander off.
you can kill corrupted monk there before you even fight Genichiro
How's everyone finding their progress coming along? After Genichiro, I found most bosses easy. I figured the monkey out in 2 tries, and his second fight was a cakewalk. Owl gave me trouble again, but now I'm deciding which ending to do. Not sure if I'll NG+ yet either.
Fuck the Owl. Its just not a fun fight.
All skills suck, you're better off attacking normally and deflecting. Almost all prosthetics suck, except for a few abusable ones. Only the shuriken is a well-designed prosthetic.
Beat Owl in one try and it was fun.
Beat the second Owl in about 25 ties and again, possibly one of the best fights the game has to offer next to the final boss.
Nigga, don't get your ass beat by your shitty old man.
Monk punches are good vs human enemies
>not getting smoking sexy style with mortal blade
Chicken Boo, what's the matter with you
You don't act like the other chickens do
But he's so mean. And I hate waiting for openings I wanna attack and parry and shit.
double ichimonji is a god tier punishment skill and absolutely amazing against anyone you want to posture break
also
You don't like the sabimaru?
>fire doesnt hurt him
it does he just takes a while to get the BURN status effect
Just got to the final boss. Fuck this is going to take a while.
>this is going to take a while
He (and Owl) will be super hard for like an hour and then it'll just click. I have no idea how else to explain it.
whats the point
there are like 6-7 usefull skills you get about 1/3rd into the game, rest are filler or downright trash
better save up for the mask
>using youtube
What's hard about Owl outside of NG+&charm? His punish windows are huge and you can just block almost all of his shit even if you can't bother to learn to parry. He seemed like one of the easier bosses.
Careful with his spear. He has a tendency to jump back and slash at your shins which pissed me off.
why not just use a trainer?
Not that guy, but after getting it I tried using it on a half dozen enemies and never actually got poison to proc so I just stopped trying. I've heard the lazulite upgrade makes it much better, but I have a feeling that anything that's easy to poison doesn't actually have enough health to bother anyway, and the low damage of the weapon itself coupled with the many hits it takes to trigger will probably invalidate the bonus poison damage even if it ever procs against a boss or something.
I'd imagine it's highly effective against very very specific things like a lot of tools, but the other tools have much more obvious cases. It's easy to know all beasts are afraid of loud noises, or that shields break to an axe, but to know something is weak to poison you basically have to read a loading screen tip saying they hate rust.
>shadowrush
>bad
no one can block the attack, just don't use it on people without flinch like juzo or ogres. Beside all final attacks use emblems and you can still use a weakened version if you don't run out of emblems, shadowrush can't use the jump without emblem but the trust still intact.
Why not just play the game as it is intended by the developer?
but that's boring, I want to style

As a general rule, it should work on enemies without strong armor. Proccing the poison also does a decent chunk of posture damage, useful against minibosses like the Snake Eyes. The flavor text is also basically begging you to try it on Okami warriors, it even stuns them.
